'Singha Beer at the Walkers Stadium on Matchdays'

:trumpet:

Yes I read that but they already had a contract with someone else this season, I guess they would've had to cancelled that.

Besides it says "will see the provision of Singha Beer at the Walkers Stadium on matchdays".

Which could be interpreted as now, this Saturday or anytime in the future.dunno.gif

Not my favourite by any stretch but anything has to be better than the bloody carlsberg

Depends which type of Singha beer it is

When I went to Thailand there were 2 types. The 5% one or the 6.4% one

the 6.4% one was well nice and the other wasnt great but ok

I shall be drinking a pint of Singha at half time to avoid this tinpot american shite!

If I was a so-called 'lad', I believe I'd be obliged to say: 'GAY!' in response to that...

Though given that your link's broke it could be that you weren't referring to the cheerleaders and I've ballsed my attempt at a comic jibe up entirely?

It was the cheerleaders, I just think its shit to be honest. When I see at away grounds I think thats shit and there 200 yards away from anyway so you can't tell if they've got a decent rack or arse anyway.

See better on the concourse!

Couldn't agree more, it doesn't get much worse than carlsberg from a plastic glass. lol

True, true. I caught the end of the performance by the ones at Sheff Utd and pointed it out to my mate cos he wasn't looking and usually he would be. He said he wasn't interested cos he saw them come out and they were like 10 or something, hard to tell from 50 yards... :giggle:

Further details on the partnership, which will include branding at the Walkers Stadium, will be confirmed in due course.

The above reads maybe that 'branding' may include beer provision arriving at a later date..... hope it's there tomorrow though!

Yeah, hoping they are bottles, would think they would be?

1) Bottles can't be watered down like the catpiss that was Carlsberg being served.

2) Bottles would be fresher rather than pints that have sat there for a while.

3) Bottles would be quicker to serve to people - mind you the staff they employ won't go much quicker, maybe that point fails.

4) Plastic Glasses are horrible to drink from.

THIS is the reason (amongst others lol) we need to lobby good old uncle Top into investing in a nice big screen at the walkers!! ;-)

There's no such thing as a plastic glass.

Glass is glass.

Haha lol and there's no chance they will serve it in glass bottles. Drunk football fans and bottles don't mix very well.

You can get plastic bottles.

Many other clubs serve Carling in plastic bottles.

Think its a good move getting a big company like Singa onboard. But if we want to increase the capacity without lowering ticket prices to much maybe we should sell quality beer and bitter at low prices, we would sell more which would cover the drop in price, we should use a local brewery such as Billys beer which is a Leicestershire brewery who sell beers in the western amongst others.

We should also sell quality food maybe specialise in Asian cuisine and have a selection of currys at low prices but the emphasis must be on quality and we would get more punters in, guaranteed.

Name any other club in the top two divisions where you can get a quality pint and a good curry we would stand out of the crowd!
