AmyLGK Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why are we playing this game on a Friday night? We're not on sky! Are the tigers playing at home on Saturday or something?
ajthefox Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why are we playing this game on a Friday night? We're not on sky! Are the tigers playing at home on Saturday or something? I believe so.
Bugg Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I swear we always have to move our fixtures for the Tigers.
AmyLGK Posted 5 February 2011 Author Posted 5 February 2011 I believe so. Bah, I was hoping we may be on tv, just not Sky. Rubbish!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why are we playing this game on a Friday night? We're not on sky! Are the tigers playing at home on Saturday or something? Yeah i think the Tigers are playing on Saturday (at least thats what im lead to believe) - Pathetic IMO but oh well
Kitchandro Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why can't they move their fixtures? Because we are their bitches. We need to stamp our authority as the better sport.
SeCrEt FoX Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 I swear we always have to move our fixtures for the Tigers. Tigers played last night .
Finnegan Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why can't they move their fixtures? Their game may very well be on Sky.
Haydos Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 Why can't they move their fixtures? It's a european cup game and cannot be held at Welford Road.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 5 February 2011 Posted 5 February 2011 People understand that this decision was nothing to do with the Tigers, and everything to do with Sky, right? Tigers have no say where the game is placed for a live game, and the Wasps match was always stick-on to be a live match, either on ESPN or Sky. It's the consequence of having a good rugby team at the end of the day. Tigers have been on TV a ridiculous amount of times this season. People moan about Man Utd. 18 of their first 20 fixtures this season were live. Not exactly ideal for their fans.
Dilkes Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Why can't they take the cameras and equipment a day early and then carry them down the road a day after Didn't they do something like that before, but got the cameras from Welford Road?
Guest Bilo Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 I swear we always have to move our fixtures for the Tigers. They moved their game for us this week. It's to do with Sky, not the Tigers. What Sky wants, Sky gets.
CKB Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Going to this with the missus.. Question for any Mountsorrel person, quickest way to get to the Walkers via bus?
shailen Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 A lot of people think promotion os inevitable this season, but we have to remember we are a long way off achieving the play offs yet. A couple of bad results could end it for us. Only when we get into the play off positions should we be considering it
Asherz Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 because tigers are the man utd of rugby to be honest they are the better sports team in leicester at the moment
grth2004 Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 pie and pint offer should make up for it [OFFER
darko2k7 Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 Why can't they take the cameras and equipment a day early and then carry them down the road a day after Didn't they do something like that before, but got the cameras from Welford Road? It's a european cup game so they can not play at welford road you only get home country advantage . so it will be at the walkers and would rather us play first cuz they will mash up the pitch on saturday . Better for me also train back on a sunday are rubbish
Jimbo Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 It's a european cup game so they can not play at welford road you only get home country advantage . so it will be at the walkers and would rather us play first cuz they will mash up the pitch on saturday . Better for me also train back on a sunday are rubbish It's not a European fixture, it's on sky. If they get through the quarter final against Leinster, which is away, then they will most probably play their semi final match at our place. But that's not until the back end of April, so depending on when that actually is we could have another game moved
tomtom Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 It's not a European game and its not at the walkers!,
Trav Le Bleu Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 This actually helps me. I was wanting to go to the game, but might be travelling to Bristol on the Saturday evening - this will make my trip a lot less congested!
Kingylcfc Posted 6 February 2011 Posted 6 February 2011 we played on boxing day as well...and the tigers moved their game
