SMX11 Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 I like the way Jason Cundy is bumming all the Chelsea players
davieG Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Finally get it then it crashes Oh FFS I give up!!!!!
StanSP Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Lack of concentration from Mee let the striker get in and he was never going to get the ball once the striker was through. Sinclair had 2 great chances to put England ahead before that penalty though. He's quite selfish.
SMX11 Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 He played well though. I would blame the crap attackers.
themotivator Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 didn't realise he'd been sent off too. bloody hell. hard luck really, hes been ok all game.
StanSP Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Oh FFS I give up!!!!! http://www.vipstand.me/watch/20080/1/italy-u21-vs-england-u21.html I know it's near the end of the match, but use that site (not sure if it's been suggested on here) for any football or any sport actually.
nickelbyfox Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Mee sent off and gives away a penalty? Jeez thats two penalties in four games
Ricey Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Mee sent off and gives away a penalty? Jeez thats two penalties in four games Three penalties.

themotivator Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 just think. if we'd had mee in the team all last season maybe weale would have gotten good enough at saving pens to beat cardiff in the play offs. all part of sven's master plan?

HAHAHAHAHA Forgot about the third one, as it was a tad innocuous, well the second one against Millwall that is
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Mee and Naughton have looked very comfortable. Not sure what game you were watching. Even putting the pen aside Mee looked like the weak link in our defence. Lost his man a couple of times and didn't really seem comfortable on the ball to me. Naughton had a few dodgy touches as well. just think. if we'd had mee in the team all last season maybe weale would have gotten good enough at saving pens to beat cardiff in the play offs. all part of sven's master plan? Don't know about that but I was wondering the other day if Sven had maybe been watching the tapes of our play-off victory under MON. Could explain why he has signed Ricardo? Might be thinking of using the same last minute specialist pen stopper keeper change tactic I like his thinking if so!
Ric Flair Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 1st half Naughton was probably England's most comfortable player. Mee looked crap all match.
Langston Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Agree with Ric Flair, Mee never looked comfortable at the back and more often than not look hurried and panicked whenever he got the ball. Naughton looked solid enough, and, for me, put a more than decent shift in.

Tricky debut against Millwall but he looked like he was coming into his own for us, against Sheff United and Barnsley. Just hope this doesn't give his confidence too big a knock.
Captain... Posted 8 February 2011 Posted 8 February 2011 Is anyone else concerned by the number of games Naughton has been playing recently, he is still relatively young would have preferred him to have had a rest rather than playing for U21s. King too. An injury to one of those 2 could seriously **** up our season. Don't get me wrong it's great to have players getting international recognition but maybe give them a rest at half time against the sheep when we are cruising. Neither seems particularly injury prone, but it can't do any harm.

Fox 4 Life Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 after watching Glen Johnson's shambolic performance so far, Naughton has a shot at the first team!
ChubbsLCFC Posted 9 February 2011 Posted 9 February 2011 Just what I was thinking! Johnson has been terrible! Call him up capello!!
