Juan Roman Riquelme:

In his day he was an incredible player, but haven't seen him for a couple of years so not sure what age has done to him. My worry would be his wage cost. Isn't he injured right now as well?

Just enjoy being linked with these players mate!

I'll second that! And after we signed Yakubu, it shows that we can draw the big players to sign and not just be linked with them ! Anything is possible with Sven in charge!

You never loose what he had, he was never particularly fast, but just class

Disagree. Did you not see Edgar Davids for Palace earlier this season? :)

I did yes, But two completely different players, Davids relied on energy and strength, which he has unfortunately lost, I see Riquelme as more of a Zidane, Riquelme arguably had one of the best touches in the world, however this is all rubbish, he will not leave Boca. But Benega is the next Riquelme sign him up for next year :crylaugh:

This would be sensational, but if he currently has a club then we cannot sign him. If he's a free agent then bring the fooker in, automatic promotion would be almost a Shay Given. Yakubu and King would have goals on a plate with him teeing them up.

Just thinking IF there is any truth in this which i highly doubt, It would be a loan, he is foreign and is coming from abroad so it wouldn't be classed a normal loan...

I'm sure that alot of these rumours are just that but what they are doing is raising the profile of the club.

This can only be a good thing when targeting genuine transfers as players will see us as a club with big ambitions.
