The Doctor Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Can see his thought process but you can never dismiss any match at this level as a walk-over.
ajthefox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Understand what he's saying but calling any match a walk-over is very unprofessional.
hackneyfox Posted 23 February 2011 Author Posted 23 February 2011 Of course, but based on team injuries, tiredness etc you have to try and ensure your team is at its best on the big games. You can't expect your 'best' 11 to play every game, at full tempo, It can't be done.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Damn silly having a real hard training session on the Thursday if its true.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 So Bentley's Roof has access to Sven that neither RL or the Mockery has? I add my voice to the above posts and call this blatantly untrue. Someone has been a successful WUM on Bentleys it seems.
hackneyfox Posted 23 February 2011 Author Posted 23 February 2011 I just posted it. But where does he claim that Sven doesn't?
Corky Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Well, if it's true, let's hope it was a one-off. We can't afford to take any match lightly.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 It's making ridiculous claims that Sven is taking teams for granted and also claiming that Sven has admitted his mistakes - though obviously only to him it seems.
Wymsey Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 This is possibly a silly rumour that could prove disastrous if this information is incorrect and the internal party (Sven/coaches/players) see it.
LCFCMickey Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Hold on, we're second guessing Sven after losing one away game (to arguably one of the toughest teams in the league)? Please, why not stand up and outline how you would improve upon Sven & coaching teams approach for the whole of 2011 so far? Personally, the ratio of results under his regime is at... I'm happy to cough for my season ticket renewal. From 24th to 7th.... Get real.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 I call bull Sh-- this is a made up story no one in there right mind would give players a heavy training session before a match...
lcfcadam Posted 23 February 2011 Posted 23 February 2011 Everyone and everything on Bentleys appears to be a pile of complete and utter tripe - a bunch of thick middle-aged know-nothings (no disrespect to hackneyfox, he seems to be a rare exception) who can do nothing better than be racist, shit-stirring and negative. Not got any bias against it, it's just the impression I get from looking on there from time to time.
Simmo86 Posted 24 February 2011 Posted 24 February 2011 TBF I often have a little browse at Bentleys and this poster does know his stuff, often providing inside information just like Bert does on here. So people may be a little bit quick dismissing it totally out of hand. Even if it did happen at least Sven will know now that taking ANY Championship game for granted is a no-no. Expect Cov to feel the backlash!!

Roy Cropper Posted 24 February 2011 Posted 24 February 2011 This is possibly a silly rumour that could prove disastrous if this information is incorrect and the internal party (Sven/coaches/players) see it. I severly doubt that Sven or anyone at the club give a flying **** what is written on foxes talk.
lcfcadam Posted 24 February 2011 Posted 24 February 2011 You might want to take that back. Okay you're right, that part was based on a thread which I now can't find in which the poster himself and a significant portion of the repliers seemed to agree that it was somehow 'inevitable' that the Asian family who all died a few weeks back were killed by the unhinged, Asian, father. It was a thread I could scarcely believe when I was reading it. But no, it was unfair to include that label in there and I apologise. The rest is ruddy correct though...
lcfcadam Posted 24 February 2011 Posted 24 February 2011 Ha just read their response thread. Wouldn't want to go to all the trouble of signing up for an account on there and posting this so may as well put it here. It would have been kind of tricky for me to have supported City much before 2007 given that I moved here from Scotland only a few years previous. I have never listened to the monday night phone-in because I make it my business to have to listen to as few imbeciles in life as possible. Lee Hoos is a willy puller of the highest order. The Jersey Budd rendition of When You're Smiling (and in my humble opinion pretty much most stuff he brings out) is cringeworthy. And the Leicester Mercury sports section is also a desperate embarrassment and it makes my blood boil that I and several other posters on here could do a significantly better job. The bits you got right were something of an admiration of Oakley (for still contributing to games even when it looked like his playing time here was probably over) and Howard (because what's the point in suddenly deciding he's a pile of shite just because he can perhaps no longer fully compete in this frenetic championship season. All the other goals, MOM performances, assists during League 1 and last season count for nothing then?). Oh and Jobber's a nice guy too, though these days quite a bit of his drum banging is a teeny bit cringey. Care to copy them in hackneyfox?
