Has anyone noticed Hull moving up the table to within 2 points of us ?

I think this is something to be concerned about, especially if we falter on a few of the games coming up

Their next 5 games are:

Cardiff (H)

Notts Florists (A)

Burnley(H)

Coventry (A)

Norwich (H)

Ours are:

Coventry (H)

QPR (A)

Norwich (H)

Scumthorpe (A)

Portsmouth (H)

I can see them picking up some suprise points at these games as they are moving up the form table slowly (We are still 1st in that table !!) http://stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/D1/oform.html

So if we arent careful and drop some points at our next 5 games I gotta feeling they might sneak above us....

Just something to ponder on...

We need to deffo beat those Cov ****** on Saturday afternoon !

What annoys me is we make them stronger giving them Hobbs we should of loaned him out but only to a cov or derby someone like that.

But then again the baby wanted a cuddle from Nige. There there jack dont need to pass the ball your safe now Awww I best put you in your cot Matty is getting jealous

We were discussing this the other day, but to be fair Hull's home games against Cardiff, Norwich and Burnley will be hard. Plus, I can't see them getting anything at Nottingham Forest.

Looking at our fixtures, there is only QPR away in which I think will be tough. Scunthorpe may also be hard because of the pitch but in general, we should be beating Coventry and Portsmouth at home. I also feel we can beat Norwich.

Tomorow is important and we need to win. I can't see Leeds getting anything at Swansea (thus we can close the gap) and Cardiff may get at least 1 point at Hull.

But, at the end of the day its football, and anything can occur.

They've got 4 sides in the promotion mix, I'll happily let them take a few points of them if we can do a job in our games.

yeah but lets hope they dont end up with more points than us after those games !

I still got a nervous feeling whenever I see Ricardo in goal....

He's only made one sub appearance.

@OP re Hull, Burnley could be more of threat 4 points behind 2 games in hand.

They are worth worrying about but their fixtures are not nice at all. Burnley are another club that'll be in the mix unfortunately. Hopefully Norwich will slip 'cause Leeds' run in looks the easiest and the 'other 4' are secure for a top 6 place.

Damn, I was going to make the exact same two points, beaten to it.

You're spot on though.

to be honest I forgot all about teams like Reading, Hull, Burnley....

so yeah we need to win our games, even against QPR and Forest (I think forest will start a decline now with injuries and a small squad, plus according to to a few Forest fans I work with they havent been great over past 4 or 5 games)

If they do, it's not a massive issue. It means they've beaten the sides above us.

If we've picked up points along the way we'll have gained ground/overtook the sides above us too.

Brilliant, so 4 out of 5 of their games are against our rivals, hopefully all draws

I could easily see Hull getting something at Fores, they are hard to beat and dont concede too many either.

There is more than QPR away which is a tough game. Forest away isnt easy, neither is Reading. I think we would do well to pick up 3 points from either of them. Yes we shoulsd beat Cov at home as they are shite, but Norwich will be tricky. So too will be Portsmouth who could beat anyone on their day with the squad they have, Ipswich are going to be another difficult team to beat too.

I think we will go unbeaten at home, but we need to pick up as many points as possible from them as that will get us into the PO's alone.

You can't do anything about how other teams do (unless you're playing them that day.) Potentially there's many more teams than Hull ands the 6 above us that could affect us if we don't perform.

However, if we do perform, then there's no good worrying about what other teams do.

So why worry?

I hopes Hull wins over them all!

And of course we win ours then we are in top 6!

Screw Hull, who cares about them...?

We are (excluding midweek) THE form team, it's everyone else who should still be scared of us.

We be should aiming for the big boys and forgetting about those below otherwise we'll end up going nowhere.

Unfortunately looks like I was right there then.
