StanSP Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Playing the likes of Ipswich and Leicester City ::. Daily Mail don't think we're going up then! Oh, and since when was £15k classify as having to be almost a millionaire? £15k is nowhere near at least £1m!

Oh, and since when was £15k classify as having to be almost a millionaire? £15k is nowhere near at least £1m! They did at least say lucky enough... This is fooking lunacy though. I'm sure there are 8 plums out there willing to pay that for the seats when they could move a couple seats down and have the prices slashed to a measely 1k or something though.
MC Prussian Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Is it April's Fool yet? They're not even guaranteed to go up this season...
lcfcsnow Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 They certainly get value for money at London Road though.
Mack Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Their Chairman is such a tonk he should be paying them to sit near him.
Kenners Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 To be honest I dont see anything wrong with it, as long as none of the other tickets have risen or will be rising. If 8 stupid people are willing to pay it then its extra money for the club isn't it? Afterall they wouldnt be used otherwise. Or am I missing something

broughtonblue Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 'we had some tickets left'. So the tickets they couldn't sell at normal price they up the price to £15k, must be some logic in there somewhere?
Kenners Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Just because people are willing to do it it doesn't make it right. How can they honestly justify it, the next most expensive was 1800 quid! Well, the fans that like to sit anywhere else aren't missing out on anything as the seats were never intended for them and they're not being priced out for the same reason. Im guessing its possible for people with ties to the club or some rich people to pay to sit in the directors area as 'friends of the directors' at most clubs (of course I could be dead wrong) and if so there's no difference except this is being marketed in public. In my opinion I don't see anything wrong with making an extra £120000 legitamitely with no real affect on anyone other than the 8 involved.
Fosse Boy Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 I'm not even shocked by this kind of thing anymore. If people are willing to pay it then fair enough. they want shooting.
Corky Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 An evening out with Barry Fry thrown in and many will be interested.
Jackirius Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 I'm not even shocked by this kind of thing anymore. It is an outrageous price to pay but it's only 8 seats and i wont effect anyone else. £15000 is a lot for a league one team though, seems like a bung to get you into the directors enclosure.

Still. If you're dense enough to pay £15,000 to watch Peterborough having someone stick a bullet through your nut wouldn't be the worst thing to happen to the human race. Or you could at least give your 15 grand to the person who's going to shoot you. They'd probably spend it more wisely, maybe buy themselves a better gun with it...
ScouseFox Posted 1 March 2011 Posted 1 March 2011 Their money, they can do what the fvck they want with it.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 2 March 2011 Posted 2 March 2011 Might be a clever bit of marketing fair play to them.
