Guest Bilo Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 We'll keep less clean sheets than a nursing home with Logan as a short or medium term keeper. A good goalkeeper is something we're really going to need next season regardless of division.
Corky Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Shame if true but hopefully the during the game chants will stop and we support our players on the pitch.
Fosse Boy Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Shame if true but hopefully the during the game chants will stop and we support our players on the pitch. I think you're putting too much faith in some of the idiots who follow us there.
funkyrobot Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 With wealester injured I am with Ricardo all the way. Logan has the worst traits of both goalies with a whole heap more issues on top. I think we should get casino jimmy Nielsen back personally. He'd be a good bet I'd wager arf arf http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Nielsen
TheUltimateWinner Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Why did jimmy leave? He never got a game the poor sod
funkyrobot Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 Why did jimmy leave? He never got a game the poor sod I think his goalkeeping was worse than his gambling
ajthefox Posted 3 March 2011 Posted 3 March 2011 **** knows why but Nielsen came down to our college once while he was here and had about half the lads all taking penos at him!
Kingylcfc Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 this could in effect make ricardo even worse because he will now feel no pressure from another goalkeeper....the only other real options are recalling Conrad Logan or giving Robert Ambrusics a chance.....personally I believe Sven may have a little dip into the loan market for another Premier League goalkeeper, but this time not a reallt bad or injury prone one, such as a Ikeme or Kirkland.... I'd much prefer someone like Manuel Almunia if this does prove to be an injured Chris Weale.
samlcfc Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 **** knows why but Nielsen came down to our college once while he was here and had about half the lads all taking penos at him! It was for charity i think. That was well funny. Someone put them international flags up of some random countries , think it was kass who scored and ran round with his kegs down aswell aha
bobbysmith Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 My link Logans latest blunder. Poor kid, can't be playing him against top o' the table.
MrSpaM Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Why are people acting like it's the end of the world? he wouldnt have started anyway?!?
sdb Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 This could work out nicely now we can surely apply for the old emergency loan, thus getting a goal keeper that isn't Ricardo or Logan. Actually I fancy Ricardo to do OK tomorrow. Maybe Thomas Kuszack??
Corky Posted 4 March 2011 Posted 4 March 2011 Why are people acting like it's the end of the world? he wouldnt have started anyway?!? Because we all him.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Sky Sports seem to think that he is a doubt for today's game with a back injury. This could explain why he hasnt been playing, but surely he wouldnt be on the bench if a doubt. Looks like Ricardo will be starting AGAIN today. \s bit worrying imo.

Think this was reported the other day and that Logan is being/been recalled.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 i would rather logan play than ricardo. we have conceeded in every game he has play in apart from Derby, but in all honesty they were poor. Made a terrible mistake against cov which led to their goal and them taking the lead
shailen Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Ricardo is a good keeper, he hasnt played in 2 years ffs before he joined us. Its like with vassell when he dint have match fitness but now look at him, hes a good player for us. Ive seen ricardo play for a number of clubs and he is definately a good keeper at this level. Good distribution, shot stopper...etc. have faith in him!
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 and that 'fantastic' form he has would be nice today against top of the league. I was hoping that Weale would play but there you go
The Doctor Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 i would rather logan play than ricardo. we have conceeded in every game he has play in apart from Derby, but in all honesty they were poor. Made a terrible mistake against cov which led to their goal and them taking the lead no-one who has seen logan play before would want him to play for us.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 no-one who has seen logan play before would want him to play for us. i have seen logan play. and he seems more reliable that Ricardo. Ricardo reminds me too much of Ikeme.
Adster Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 i have seen logan play. and he seems more reliable that Ricardo. Ricardo reminds me too much of Ikeme. What about Loagan when we played West Brom in the League Cup? Hardly reliable.
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 What about Loagan when we played West Brom in the League Cup? Hardly reliable. i never said he was reliable, just more reliable than Ricardo imo. We need Weale back! He has done nothing but be dropped to the bench for keepers that 'need a game'
MattyFromLE Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 i never said he was reliable, just more reliable than Ricardo imo. We need Weale back! He has done nothing but be dropped to the bench for keepers that 'need a game' I can't believe you're putting Conrad Logan, above a capped Portuguese goalkeeper. He'll come good.
