MattLeics Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Maybe its the same for all fans of other teams and it is only cus I love Leicester why its seems to be just us but look at the players with links to us that seem to haunt us. Obviously last season it was DJ Twat, this year it seems Max Gradels goals are going to have put leeds in playoffs instead of us and now I also think Fryatt and Pearson might even sneak into playoffs instead of us!! Then didnt u just know it today as soon as Miller came on for QPR I just knew after all the specualtion about him coming to us he would end up scoring!! I know we played well today but it seems after the amazing first half display against Derby we maybe got too confident and we have not been the same since, hopefully can go on another run and get Yakubu and Vassell scoring again and we might just sneak in but we could just as easily finish mid table which would make some of our fans look light right tits after bigging us up to every other team saying we are going to get automatic promotion! Come on Sven u can do it still !!!!

However come the end of the season if Leicester City arent in the play-offs who have we got to blame - only ourselves really, not just Sousa's start (although thats obviously the main reason) but overall we wont have done enough really its that simple - we cant / shouldt blame anyone else
ajthefox Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Although this season has been quite bad for it, it's not actually as bad it seems. People tend to remember the cases which enforce your point and you forget about the instances that don't, thus building up an argument that's biased. If you looked closely at matches this season you'd probably see a few players that have done nothing. Mattock and Adams at Sheff Utd off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more.

Lets use the F-test at the 10% level accounting for hetroskedasticity and auto-correlation, to see if there is any significant bias in this claim or whether it is simply rejected as not significant.
LCFC94 Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I thInk sousa's start does count for not being higher, out of those 9 games we would of got around 15 points at least which would of put us currently alot higher
shailen Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I always said we shouldnt have sold fryatt and he has shown why! Whats that 7 goals in 11 games for them and people were doubtimg whether he could cut it at Championship level. If they get promoted instead of us it will be due to fryatt!
Babylon Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 It doesn't always happen. It's happened a bit recently but DJ didn't cost us anything and neither gave the others yet. Leeds and Hull have more than one person in their teams.

Fryatt doesnt score goals in our system and didnt want to be here, why bother keeping a player who doesnt want to play for us and doesnt fit in our system? ****ing halfwit.
Callabinho Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Sven said he got rid of Fryatt because he had a bad attitude! Fryatt did nothing until Pearson came along, we don't need him!
Guest ttfn Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I don't remember Josh Low coming back to haunt us.
Corky Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 It was pretty much guaranteed Fryatt would score for Hull, he didn't fit in Sven's plans. Players move on.

Shut up about Fryatt who gives a **** we've sold him get over it, he didnt play well for us and our manager didnt want to keep him so get ur ****ing toungue out from his arse and move on!
fatmando Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 I'm glad Fryatt's proving his doubters wrong (again) and showing he is more than good enough for this level. Real shame he and Sven did not gel. But hey....'who needs Fryatt, we've got Yakubu!'
accessory Posted 5 March 2011 Posted 5 March 2011 Fryatt's a decent enough striker these days at Championship level. But we can and should be aimimg higher. I wouldn't swap him for Waggy or the Yak.
funkyrobot Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 ****ing hell, are you the one who rings up RL all the time? Fryatt doesnt score goals in our system and didnt want to be here, why bother keeping a player who doesnt want to play for us and doesnt fit in our system? ****ing halfwit. I don't agree that fryatt couldn't have played in the system we're employing now. The yak seems to be pretty much a straight swap. Fryatt was our best finisher. He got that bad injury last year and then this season he simply didn't get a game, he hardly had any opportunity to show that he 'didn't want to play for us'. He was probably frustrated because he wasn't getting a look in, I certainly was. Now he's been sold on the cheap to a close rival and he's scoring important goals. If we have to sell players that have ability, at least sell them to clubs not in our league (spl) or sides with less chance of using the player to bite us on the arse. The premier league teams don't do this unless there's crazy money involved (Torres)

Had he been given a chance all season? Nope! Personally i thought that he was the best finisher at the club, knows where the goal is, and had he been given some of the chances weve created recently he would have scored loads of goals. Also selling him to hull was a bad move, but hey its time to move on!

shailen Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 Crawl out of his arse Whatever makes you happy, the ****ing stats do not lie, he was exceptional over last 2 seasons and now this season. If supporting our best players means im buming him then ill no doubt take him up the backside

Babylon Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 As I've always said he capable of scoring 9 in 9, but also capable of scoring nothing in 20, he's inconsistent. He's a decent player, but he's wanted off since the summer. Bert said his attitude had been terrible and now so has Sven, why would anyone want that kind of player?
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 can anyone find the stats on fryatts goals on how many were poachers goals? i have a sneaky suspicion that most of his goals would have been poachers which just means he was in the right place at the right time, therefore more luck than skill !!!

Babylon Posted 6 March 2011 Posted 6 March 2011 How do you know he's wanted off since the summer? Because he was one of the players who put in a transfer request.
