What you say is undoubtedly true, Davie, and thanks as ever for posting the footage.

A very dodgy swandive of a penalty - and I wouldn't blame Mee for the tackle as the incident was too close to goal for him to have directed Hoolihan away.

Truly atrocious defending by Yakubu and Bamba, respectively, on the other 2 goals...if they'd done the basics right, we might have got a result, even if it would've been undeserved..

thought, out fought, out played and out gunned on the night by a better 'team'

Who was is picking up Hoolahan from the corner? That was shocking he was nowhere near him.

It was Yakubu near him. I was sat a few rows up behind that and he was calling anyone to come and mark him and no one did, hence the free header.

Is it just me that thinks Mee actually did foul Hoolahan judging by the camera angle on the highlights, then? My first reaction was "no complaints" and I've watched it a couple of times since and still hold that view. Bizarre.

Defending on the 1st and 3rd goals is pathetic though. The 3rd goal you'd just about get away with only a complete bollocking at Sunday League level provided you drew the game, but the 1st goal - I'm sorry but as a professional footballer it's inexcusable. Allowing ANYBODY a free header from a set-piece is bad enough, but probably the shortest guy on the pitch? Criminal. Pick your man, get tight and don't let him move. Simple, simple stuff but obviously too difficult for us in this current form.

Watching that, looks like a clear penalty to me as well. Mee has dived in, as he always does, and caught Hooloahan with the ball long gone. Ok, he made the most of the fall but still looks like a clear penalty to me.

Nope i think it was a penalty as well. Watched it a few times now and looks like one definitely for me.

4. One of which was for England, two against Millwall (one was never even a penno) and the one last night that many have said wasn't even a penno.

Ok Bruno set up othe goal. But he was at fault for 2 of the 3. Gave away a needless corner and allowed and east cross for the penalty.
