rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 so QPR are under investigation on 7 chearges by the FA over dodgy paper work and 3rd party ownership rights of certain players aswell as paying a 3rd party agent. Will the FA find them guilty and give them a 10 or 15pt deduction or will they give them a slap on the wrist and a silly fine? This is gonna get interesting as it was warnock who kicked up a huge fuss over west ham when he was manager at sheff utd. Will it come back to haunt him? Total karma maybe? what goes arund comes around?
The Doctor Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 already being discussed in gen football and sport
cc_star Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 West Ham were fined, so QPR will be fined. Interestingly seeing as Warnock spent months moaning about WestHam's Tevez registration (whose goals saw Warnocks SheffUtd relegated) it will be interesting if he stays silent over this I think he was campaigning for a points dock & WestHam to be relegated, wonder if he's changed his opinion now?
Callabinho Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Come on Warnock, points deduction, they wouldn't dare, Slap on the wrists.
sphericalfox Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 The investigation goes back to 2009 when these occurrences happened, so Warnock will have had nothing to do with it. Sousa would have been sacked prior to this, so it happened under the management of Jim Magilton.
Callabinho Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Hmm interesting, Must be knock affect's pf the Ecclestone Briatore eara, As much as everyone would like to see it, i doubt they will get a point deduction.
Jackirius Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Stop comparing West Ham and QPR, every case is completely different, just because a slightly similar case has been handled before it doesn't mean it will have the same outcome. West ham faced completely different charges than QPR do now.

Obviously the answer is clear.
Dickie Greenleaf Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Obviously Warnock will point to the fact that despite his protestations, West Ham weren't docked points, so QPR shouldn't be.
purpleronnie Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Whats the betting IF they have points taken off them the FA will wait until the end of the season and it still wont affect QPR getting promoted?
Ricey Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Obviously Warnock will point to the fact that despite his protestations, West Ham weren't docked points, so QPR shouldn't be. Luton were though, there has to be some consistency somewhere. I reckon they'll be deducted 10 points like Luton were, but still go up. Even if that happened, we'd still be 8 points behind them
Corky Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Fine. A points deduction would rumble on for a significant amount of time, can't see the FA wanting that.
m00nie Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Luton were though, there has to be some consistency somewhere. I reckon they'll be deducted 10 points like Luton were, but still go up. Even if that happened, we'd still be 8 points behind them luton was deducted for financial reasons.. west ham was the same case as this regarding a player and they was fined..
SMX11 Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 They won't have the bottle to dock points. But lets hope it happens :fc:
Houdini Logic Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 Stop comparing West Ham and QPR, every case is completely different, just because a slightly similar case has been handled before it doesn't mean it will have the same outcome. West ham faced completely different charges than QPR do now. You're right. I think we should compare it to Sven's selection of Ricardo

(even if some are different charges as you say)
FoxyPV Posted 10 March 2011 Posted 10 March 2011 They should have their points that they gained against us returned whilst keeping the points they gained off everyone else.
