Abysmal in front of goal.

Other results went our way, but i'm afraid if we keep playing like this it is bye bye play-offs, if not already.

Yakubu Premier league striker, pffft fvck off.

Really needed to get a draw at least in that game.

Might sound stupid and unrealistic but we probably need to win every game and we're still probably chasing other results!

Only bright hope this evening? results went for us.. But i'm afraid we ain't gonna get anywhere if we keep up this very inconsistent run

If we played the whole game like we did the last 10 mins we'd have created a chance that even our strikers could have finished. Unfortunately, Naughton aside (again), nobody appeared to give a shit. I find it mindboggling considering we were still in with a decent shout of a top 6 place before this game. Another nail in the coffin. Nearly the summer hols and Yak and Vassell in particular have obviously booked theirs for early May. So ****ing annoying.

So disappointed. What's happened to the Leicester City who managed to get a replay against Man City? No fight, no goals, no points=no play-offs. But I hope I'm proven wrong.

I'm just so frustrated right now. We didnt have any urgency about us until the last 15 minutes. why... WHY!!!! its not bloody rocket science is it. IF YOU WANT TO WIN A GAME YOU HAVE TO PUT RESSURE ON THE OPPOSITION! what would make it a pressing situation for sven to take a couple of bloody risks?

mee had a good game and Knaughton was quality but other than that everyone else looked non plussed. Yakubu got out of bed for the last 15 minutes but other than that... if we do not get promotion i really hope he isnt here next season.

Just extremly frustrated not just at losing but in the manner we reacted to their goal... non plussed until the last 15. Thats no way to secure a play off place and quite frankly, over the course of the whole season we dont deserve one.

8 clean sheets in 9 for Portsmouth now, but YET AGAIN we were so, so wasteful. Yakubu looked to me as though he only started playing with 10 minutes to go. Very poor today I feel.

Always disappointing to lose at home though, especially in a game where a draw was easily achievable. Even more disappointing is to lose to a side who only managed to score using a tactic that would have impressed Stoke fans.

Very disappointing, but Portsmouth have now kept eight clean sheets in their last nine. You can tell - they were very tough nuts to crack.

A very poor game, and a really awful performance. It's only because we were playing a poor team that we didn't get beaten by more.

I don't remember a single good attack.

We are not good enough to go up, so that's why we won't.

not really. if you look at the amount of shots we had its our own fault we didnt win. we need to stop covering up the gaping holes in our team - we are crap at scoring goals thats it. nothing to do with their defence.

I think the play-offs are now gone. I've been optimistic for a while, but cannot see it happening now.

Poor performance once again.

Portsmouth done their homework, aggressive in the tackle, and slowing the game down later.

Leicester are too easy to play against, need a creative midfielder.

Need a defensive leader, Richard Dunne from Villa please.

Ya know the problem and it isn't rocket science, our back four is just not consistent enough, it's chop and change all the time and yes injury has a part to play but Sven also has a part to play with that aswell... Yes he may fully not know what his best CB pairing is but this isn't helping and it's showing with some of the laughable goals we are letting in

I'm also and have been worried for sometime about the amount of loanees aswell, do they really care?? on some of the performances lately i'd question if they truely do give a shit

I think the play offs have been gone a while for us. Before today, we were basically clinging to the hope that if we won 7 out of 10 we'd have a chance, providing all the other teams dropped points.

Well, we are not going to win all our next games, I'd be surprised if we won three of them. We can't score goals. We are going nowhere. Just have to hope next season they can improve.

Kamara is a massive waste of money too. Totally pointless now.

We were poor in front of goal..Vassel and Yakubu..less said the better..and Sven will keep backing them..that's what he does..simply backs players who he trusts hoping they will deliver at some stage..but Sven needs a reality check..we should have got a draw in this by the sheer number of chances we created..and apart from Waggy we have no real striker to bring on either!...There is still faint hope of the play-offs only because other results went our way..8 games to go 5 points behind..I'd like to hope..but I'm starting to get a bad feeling..and considering there was so much hype/hope about us making the play-offs this season (mine included)..I just hope the team, manager and owners stay together...this is a real blow!

Frustrating, didn't take our chances and conceded a very sloppy goal! i was worried about the lack of desire in the lads, pompy came to win the game in any way they could. I was surprised and disappointed in us today, oh well forget it and move on, Kamara will give us an extra dosage of pace up front, provided he signs.
