Not this season, I know we're still five points away but we're not consistent enough, and haven't been all season.

If we'd kept Fryatt we'd be closer

I think 70 points was the total for 6th place last season. I think it will be very similar- meaning we need around 15-16 points. Teams in and around the playoffs still have to play each other so will definitely drop points:

Not saying it won't be tough, cause it will. 5 points seems a lot with 8 games left, but as you can see there are a lot of games between top-half, playoff chasing teams. We've got 4 of these (2 home, 2 away). The rest I think may be easier than normal as they're teams where their season is over (can't get relegated/promoted).

Trying to remain optimistic/positve. :)

Of course they are still possible..fingers crossed

Bloody hell Forest's run in is ridiculous.

To be honest, I think QPR away was when it slipped away from us after getting so close. Losing that in the last minute knocked the stuffing out of us and then defeat to Norwich almost ended our season. When Sven took over we were bottom, so to be in with a shout of the play offs is still good going.

I don't expect anything from this season any more, so finishing top 6 would be a huge and unexpected bonus.

you know what worries me most? it's not that we've lost form, it's that I can't see us getting it back. certainly not before the end of the season, and without some new signings, a new system and time to actually mould a team, not next season either.

I believe we have run out of games , but as you say anything is possible.

Hopefully the 2 weeks break will invigorate the players and we can go on another unbeaten run.

:chant: C'mon guys keep up your valueable support especially those who go to matces :appl:

My end of season predictions: QPR (pending pts. deduction)

NORWICH

SWANSEA

CARDIFF

READING

BURNLEY / LEICESTER/ LEEDS / N FOREST / HULL (to fight for last spot)

WATFORD / MILLWALL ( outside chance )

Here's hoping we go on a winning streak and make the playoffs.............

8 Games left, we need to win 5/6 of them and pick up a draw or two.

Possible? Yes - not a bad run-in.

Likely? No - our form despite being a great second half of the season does not at this time correlate with such a points tally.

Do I think it's a definite 'No?'

No - this is Leicester City, I actually wouldn't be that surprised if we went unbeaten till the end of the season won five drew three and finished 5th with a further eighteen points.

It's not over yet.
