I think 70 points was the total for 6th place last season. I think it will be very similar- meaning we need around 15-16 points. Teams in and around the playoffs still have to play each other so will definitely drop points:

Not saying it won't be tough, cause it will. 5 points seems a lot with 8 games left, but as you can see there are a lot of games between top-half, playoff chasing teams. We've got 4 of these (2 home, 2 away). The rest I think may be easier than normal as they're teams where their season is over (can't get relegated/promoted).

Trying to remain optimistic/positve. :)

after todays performance we dont even deserve to, plus hasnt yak said he wants to stay with us if we go up, thats surely got to be a reason itself to fluff it..

With a two week break anything is possible, teams on a roll can lose momentum, injured players will return, tired teams will recover and form can turn on it's head after such a rest.

It's not over for us, however i feel we just don't have enough to break into the top 6. Sven will get a pre season and hopefully a good backing in the summer, then i'd expect us to do much better next season!

Its still possible imo.

We had 7 wins in 8 with 1 draw at the beginning of the year. The break will do us a really big favour and if we come back on that form we should be there.

Realistically we're in the same boat as we would have been if we won and forest won.

Not the end of the world, the problem is we're playing badly and i can't see us stringing together any kind of run soon.

We need 8 wins out of 8. Only way we are defo gonna get into the play offs!

There is no way we will 'definitely' get in the playoffs however many we win, and we don't need 8 out of 8 either.

Today spelt the end for me.

We had an amazing run but unfortunately I think it's taken it's toll.

Unless we somehow just get back to where we were at our peak ready for boro and get lucky with other results I think we'll end up 8th or so.

I'm pretty sure 8/8 wins will get us to the playoffs. However, with all the teams playing each other, I can see another 18 points- 6 wins- being enough.

No, season is pretty much over, opposition teams have sussed us and we only play one way.

There is no plan B it seems.

Possible yes.

Probable no.

This man speaks truly. He knows his stuff. Pay attention and heed his words.

Can we? Yes.

Can half the division? Yes.

Do we deserve to? No.
