lestajigs Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Looked awful from SK3 as it does every game. It's very crineworthy in my opinion. Looked great when Man City did it and then everyone bought into it. Difference was that when Man City did it every single fan got involved where as when L block do it only a few hundred do it with it spread out across the stand. Really doesn't look very good at all. Saying that the atmosphere in the ground was pretty good today and the Kop seemed quite loud today. Good game all round! I was in the family stand and it looked brilliant today,
Kitchandro Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 couldn't be there today but usually L, K and J do it which is a fair amount.
Bert Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Bert- were you the one who brought that bird with you today? I noticed she was clapping as I shouted at everyone to stop. She obligded, but I felt guilty as it seemed like I was aiming it at her She's there with me every week mate. You sit row MM 303/304 yeah?
The Year Of The Fox Posted 10 April 2011 Author Posted 10 April 2011 She's there with me every week mate. You sit row MM 303/304 yeah? yeh, my actual seat is 306, but its whoever gets up there first takes that! oh sorry, im never normally sober enough to know whos around me!
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 10 April 2011 Posted 10 April 2011 Have to say I think l block were pretty good today. Got behind the team from the off. You could also hear the kop quite a bit. Give L1 its dues, sounded decent today. Actually heard Bring on the Sunderland and Arsenal from over there which is more than most of the Kop can muster. L block were good yesterday I must admit. Heard bring on the sunderland & arsenal as well & the celebrations after the goals looked quality over there. To be fair the kop was louder than usual as well. Thought it was the best atmosphere we've generated at home for a while. The first 5/10 minutes were especially loud.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 April 2011 Author Posted 11 April 2011 Ive got one wish for tomorrow- that no-one starts shouting updates regarding chelsea man utd. If you care that much to check the scores whilst weve got a massive game to play, then piss off down the pub to watch them play

Brown Fox Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Bring on the Sunderland was good in L and K yesterday but lots of people don't know the full song. It got to the Barcelona and Madrid part and the rest was mumbled and so I don't know what goes after that. Can someone post the full chant please?

kylestyle06 Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 DER DER DER DER DER LCFC No, I just prefer to sit clapping before free kicks , with the clapping gradually getting faster

The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 April 2011 Author Posted 11 April 2011 Exactly! As for kylestyle, I hope youre taking the piss, though judging by some of our fans it wouldnt suprise me if youre not
Fosse Boy Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Has to be the most cringeworthy song I hear.. Completely agree mate, what's the deal with that When You're Smiling chant too? Give me a song about Tunchev being a refugee over that gash any day of the week.
Corky Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 I like that "You're shit, ahhhh" song. Pwopa naughty.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 11 April 2011 Author Posted 11 April 2011 Kylestyle that songs been around before you were a tadpole in your dads sack. I bet you really do prefer ring of fire and that clapping at free kick thing.
kylestyle06 Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Kylestyle that songs been around before you were a tadpole in your dads sack. I bet you really do prefer ring of fire and that clapping at free kick thing. Yeah I know it possibly has.. Tbh I did used to sing it seasons ago, but don't see the relevance to Barcelona and real madrid? My opinion it seems a bit cringeworthy, no need to get all on your high horses about it FFS lol
lcfc"weasel" Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 You really have to begin to wonder when there's people like him thinking they run the show in L1 and probably away as well.
Fosse Boy Posted 11 April 2011 Posted 11 April 2011 Yeah I know it possibly has.. Tbh I did used to sing it seasons ago, but don't see the relevance to Barcelona and real madrid? My opinion it seems a bit cringeworthy, no need to get all on your high horses about it FFS lol Duh. We'd destroy them if we played them. There's your relevance.

My opinion it seems a bit cringeworthy, no need to get all on your high horses about it FFS lol Because thats how its sung, and as said, has been for years. My take on it, though i may be wrong is that theyre two of the top sides in the world, and were back then! It doesn't take much to work that out. (im only 24 so no way will i pretend to know the origin/history of the song) Seriously then, what songs do you prefer?

Most that are sung are fine, i just didn't see the relevance to Barcelona and Real Madrid making a mighty bid.. Just can't stand that song. Is that ok with you? It seems to be hitting a soft spot of yours? Isn't this board made for opinions and discussion?
