The Doctor Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Is that all time now with no bother? Because if it is i'm moving from L1 seems to be. Not certain there's no trouble from the stewards but i haven't seen stewards going up there.
lcfc"weasel" Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Stewards haven't bothered last couple of games and when they do, it's only half-heartedly so there is no real issues.
Houdini Logic Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 How many twats are there in there, chanting 'weale' booing ricardo and randomly clapping and shrieking at things? Tossers Wherever you sit in the ground there are people booing Ricardo. You're crazy if you think otherwise
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 SK1 and the Kop is the future by the sounds of it. Noisy fans who are undecided about where to sit really should get themselves in SK1 next season to help speed up the revolution. It's the players on the pitch we should be trying to impress with our support first of all, not the away fans. If our home support is good then the away fans will leave impressed no matter if the noise came from next to them or at the other end of the pitch. I like a bit of banter with away fans and that but I'd much rather stand somewhere where there is constant singing than just having a chance to point and do a few gay hand signs and shout "Ooooooh chase me" at some away fan nearby. Great post. This thread's making me reconsider.

acooling08 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The KOP never sings though.. definately not loud enough for us to hear it on the half way line. L block is the only noise we have!!
lcfc"weasel" Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The KOP never sings though.. definately not loud enough for us to hear it on the half way line. L block is the only noise we have!! With that attitude it never will, if the right people with the right mentality move over from L1 as seems to be happening, then we could end up having a decent home atmosphere to be proud of.
Fosse Boy Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The KOP never sings though.. definately not loud enough for us to hear it on the half way line. L block is the only noise we have!! My vocal chords beg to differ.
MC Prussian Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The number of thick twats in L1/K1 has increased over the past couple of games. Surprisingly enough, this coincidences with the signing of Ricardo...
The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Author Posted 21 March 2011 sorry but its very rare we ever hear any noise from the kop. thats not me putting the kop down, ive sat there a few times, and it does eem quite good. having said that i am aware of how loud L block can seem to those in there yet is actually dead quiet to those in the kop. BUT... these videos show how good it can be in there... http://www.youtube.com/user/lcfcstu#p/u/2/1PZI2foaHLs http://www.youtube.com/user/lcfcstu#p/u/4/7TsNp9Gnha0 http://www.youtube.com/user/lcfcstu#p/u/5/EpJcQ8YSX9s
lcfc"weasel" Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Aye, it's true both have there good days and neither can really here the other sing apart from odd occasions.
sbfox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 The KOP never sings though.. definately not loud enough for us to hear it on the half way line. L block is the only noise we have!! This isn't really true is it? I sit in K and you can hear SK3/4 at times, really clearly. You then get L1 joining in and for a brief moment, we get that glorious noise of nearly half our ground singing. Then Jobber starts up and we lose it... For what its worth, if I get my season ticket for next year (debating currently) it'll be up towards the back of the Kop somewhere, probably one of the corners. I also think that between all of us, we must know a fairly large amount of City fans (through people and their friends and their friends' friends etc.) and surely we can get the Kop restored to at least some of its former glory next season? I'm actually feeling fairly positive about this...
anotherharboroughfox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 why the ****are they singing Nigel Pearson's King? 2:09
Wymsey Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 why the ****are they singing Nigel Pearson's King? For signing the goalscorer Waggy who he signed?
anotherharboroughfox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 For signing the goalscorer Waggy who he signed? suppose but still.....
The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Author Posted 21 March 2011 why the ****are they singing Nigel Pearson's King? 2:09 i wondered that though if you read the comment by the lad who put the video up on youtube, he mentioned singing it because the last time it was sung was when pearson was in charge I think. I can assure you everyone else sang Erikson (sp)

The Year Of The Fox Posted 21 March 2011 Author Posted 21 March 2011 Is it that hard to change Nigel Pearson to Erikkson? personally i reckon its someone who completely forgot what he was singing! i'd bhe far too embarassed to put it up if it was me!
acooling08 Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 Maybe the KOP does sing.. but usually only 'your not fit to referee' can be heard by us on the half way line. Everyone from L block should get to the KOP to unify all the vocal support in one area!
Bugg Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 I prefer K block. The right side by L block is diabolical for singing though. Seems like me and a couple on the back are the only ones trying.

In fact I may have seen you at the Portsmouth game. At one point about 4 blokes right at the back started singing and almost all of L block just sat there in silence. The most noise they made all 2nd half was the random whistling/clapping which was weird.

evs_the_fox Posted 21 March 2011 Posted 21 March 2011 BUT... these videos show how good it can be in there... Wow. Quite a cauldron.
