jonthefox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Wheres better in the ground for atmosphere then? simple, everyone in the kop.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 March 2011 Author Posted 22 March 2011 Sorry im not knocking them in there but you can never hear them. Im stopping in l block purely for the games when the away fans bring a full allocation. When that happens and were winning, it cant be bettered
darko2k7 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 I was in J block and i had a group of 5 teenage lads behind me and all they did was was play on their blackberrys the entire game , not once did they talk about the game seem interested at all about wot was happening on the pitch and then to top it off kept kicking my seat all the time . Owait i tell a lie they did not do it all game cuz they turned up ten minutes into the game and left with ten to go . It's this kind of support that really makes me worry for the future of our club , WHY DO THEY EVEN GO TO THE GAME ????
evs_the_fox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Wheres better in the ground for atmosphere then? Nowhere sadly but please don't be fooled in to thinking that is good.
philce Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 really? The back 3/4 rows of the kop have been stood all match for the past couple of months. Yes but once everyone moves over as is being suggested then they will move in and stop it. No way will the club allow large scale standing. There are too many of the old double decker crew in the kop for it to ever be anything like Filbert Street, too many flasks and seat cushions for any atmosphere. I moved to L1 when I was told by some old dear not to shout!

Maybes Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 yeah might have been me. Second row from the back I am. Row MM or NN? What seat number Im on NN.
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 I'm Row JJ in L1, serious morons on the row behind me!
lcfc"weasel" Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 The kops terrible for atmosphere Not in the corner of SK1 and the back of SK4 it isn't.
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Fair play to those in L1 saying that they prefer it where they are & they like banter with the away fans & things like that. Obviously in the kop you don't get the banter. But, for those of you who have been moaning about certain aspects of being in L or K that piss you off and maybe fancy trying the kop, come on over. If you fancy getting a season ticket up with the Fosse Boys next season, we are in the corner of SK1. The seat & row numbers where we are at the back are row PP (seats 32-49), NN (32-48), MM (32-47) & LL (32-47). There are plenty of spaces on the rows I have just mentioned. On a personal note, I've never enjoyed home games more than I have with the group this year & I can't imagine having a ST anywhere else now. Even if anyone fancies coming over for a game or 2 before the end of the season just to see what it's like, you can go to the ticket office & move your season ticket over temporarily for a game. The details I posted above are where you'd want to get a seat. If you don't like it, fair enough. I can assure everyone that we'll be going for it all game every game, whether we still have anything to play for or not. Also, for people who might fancy moving to the kop but don't want to move near the Fosse Boys, SK3/4 over the other side looks pretty lively as well & a fair few songs seem to come from that area. Back 3/4 rows across the whole kop have all been standing & (I might be biased) but I think the kop has been slightly better in general this year than in the past
Bugg Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Maybes - I'm on NN not sure on the number but it's right next to rail between K and L
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 March 2011 Author Posted 22 March 2011 I'm Row JJ in L1, serious morons on the row behind me! what seat number are you? im 306 mm

Back 3/4 rows across the whole kop have all been standing & (I might be biased) but I think the kop has been slightly better in general this year than in the past i may well swap for a place in the kop for a game or two the reminder of this season. possibly one with the fosse boys and one in sk3/4. I'll never knock anyone for wanting to make a noise but for a game like forest derby leeds at home or man city - though i kow we lost l block for that game- i really wouldnt want to be anywhere else...yet. alternitevely, why dont all the kop holders who like to sing try and get in l block for a game?
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 what seat number are you? im 306 mm 308. Dont recognise you of your pic

City Lad Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 What's all this about Americanisms? Surely if its just a small group than they just look like idiots and eventually stop? However... Why is it when we go on a crap run it seems that we; Firstly) Turn on the players who are struggling for form and need our support rather than our jeers, boos and groans (Ricardo, Mee, Van Aarnholt). Secondly) Criticise the manager even though its Sven Goran fooking Eriksson. And finally if all other rants don't cause maximum damage) Turn on each other. The atmosphere in the entire stadium, not just L1, is bound to be below par when we're on a run of one win in six.
Simmo86 Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 Pretty much yeah. He's 3 rows directly behind me, but I dont recognise him from his pic
philce Posted 22 March 2011 Posted 22 March 2011 L/K? Yes but what I mean is that if people start to stand in numbers then the club will get warnings etc regarding the standing. Isn't that what they used against the Fosse Boys earlier this season? You're not going to get the same atmosphere in any SK that we had in Pen2 or Pen1, even after they put the seats in. Depending on how the extra seats go onto the east stand it might make the lower stand better for singing? (low roof and all that?)
The Year Of The Fox Posted 22 March 2011 Author Posted 22 March 2011 Simmo86 and maybes- were talking l block not k arent we?! Im never in 306, the majority of my mates are in that row n all so we just go where ever.
