Haydos Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Two hands are needed to count the amount of times a man in blue was the target of the walking joke in black. 5 of those yellow cards, the second against Bruma excluded, were directed against 5 different, but all coloured Leicester players. Make of that what you want. Seriously? Are you going to make the same point when 5 white players are booked? 7 out of the 10 outfield players were black. Middlesbrough have black players that weren't booked. He was almost certainly a racist. It's twats like you that spread this shit and make an issue of racism in the first place.
Bugg Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 the ref is racist cause he booked the black player? I know it's grim up north but I don't think people are that bigoted.

In that case, Sven is a racist
Corky Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Disappointed, because I felt we were in control at 3-1 and even at 3-2 we were still going forward and trying to create until Bruma was sent off. Great to see the Yak bag a hat-trick, Weale looked good in goal but we've lost two points and missed an opportunity to catch up.
Asha Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 I think that's a pretty disgusting point to make, to be honest. We didn't win because the ref was targeting black players . Grow up you fucking moron.
Guy Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 I think that's the sort of game we'd have hung on and won last season under Pearson with what was a much more settled side - or am I being too nostalgic?
FoxyPV Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Disappointed. 'Nuff said. Need to win all our games now to even stand a chance of the playoffs.

Well said pal! The original dude that posted that was not the woman on Coach 3 are you? Going 'It's a racial conspiracy, The referee booked every black player we had.' Hilarious.

Middlesbrough had only one black player on the pitch today. Or two, if you count the ref in. The fact that our "coloured" players got booked for all the wrong reasons today speaks volumes to me about Haines' competence.
Haydos Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 You can count, right? Middlesbrough had only one black player on the pitch today. Or two, if you count the ref in. I also cannot recall Emnes putting only one single tackle in. Oh right, I completely see your point now.

Corky Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Prussian what are you talking about? He was appalling, but not racist by any stretch.
Haydos Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Stop deflecting. You've made a knobbish accusation. Deal with it.
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Stop deflecting. You've made a knobbish accusation. Deal with it. a) I've never started deflecting. b) I can't recall ever having said that "we lost the game because the ref was targeting black players" (as a rather clueless Asha is claiming). Hence the appropriate emoticon. c) All I'm saying is that I find it strange and racist to book coloured players for nowt, whilst Boro's "White Army" can do as they please. Nothing knobbish about it. Maybe a look at Haines' previous record could help you understand my point.

Maybe a look at Haines' previous record could help you understand my point. 1) You're responding to petty things like people writing lost instead of drew (it feels like a loss anyway) and the fact like Middlesboro having only 1 black player instead of addressing the actual point I made that we have 7 out of 10 black players and it happens that none of the 3 outfield white players were booked. 2) Like I stated before, what's the point in mentioning it then, you've never mentioned anything before when it's just been white players booked. 3) You find it racist? Are you the type that would call it racist if a white person was picked for a job ahead of a black person?

I'd like to add to that a sample of Uriah Rennie's matches... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_prem/4145702.stm Looks like he was racist all the time!
Asha Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Yeah well, it felt like a defeat. You always seem to write some absolute garbage post-match but to randomly accuse the official of being racist is a considerable low.
hackneyfox Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Hobbs needs a leader telling him what to do alongside him, and from what i've seen Bamba isn't that. Hobbs played by far and away his best football with Brown alongside him, barking in his ear not letting him slack. Also, neither Hobbs or Bamba can play LCB. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 points dropped and the standard Hobbs knee jerk reaction.
MC Prussian Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Judging from the Football League Show review, that one shot hit Bruma on his shoulder and there was no intent of touching it with his hand. Also sort of explains why Haines didn't book him initially. But why Bruma was shown a second yellow for only inquiring about the penalty call remains a mystery amongst many other mystery calls that afternoon.
Bugg Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Can anyone who went tell me how Kamara was? I couldn't get to the game today so was just interested in how he did.

Besides, I've never seen a Leicester game where 5 out of 7 white players on the pitch got booked for similar "reasons" - do you? c) What do a banana and an opossum have in common?

How do you know exactly what Bruma was saying to the referee just from the TV pictures? He may well have done more than merely ask why it was given, it's impossible to tell. What is clear, though, is that knowing he was already on a yellow card, he should've kept his fvcking mouth shut until after the game because the penalty had been saved. We'd have stood a much better chance with him on the field and his idiocy left us at a major disadvantage.

Well, it's only based on body language and I didn't spot Bruma "attacking" Haines with his communication skills after the penalty - I thought he was only trying to point out that he was hit on his shoulder. I reserve the right to be wrong, of course.
Callabinho Posted 2 April 2011 Posted 2 April 2011 Pretty gutted still, on a brighter kamara looked good! But I'm afraid with defending like that we wong get anywhere!
