Can't stand him but it was Mike Dean on saturday right? Whoever it was i thought they were probably the best we've had this season. We have had some awful refs over the season but tonight's was alright imo

Asha Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 I thought the ref was ok. The linesman on the east stand side was an absolute shambles though, can't remember him ever making a decision for himself; preferring to wait for the referee to make a call or just shrug his shoulders in hopelessness.
Bert Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 We've had worse refs, whenever he gave a decision against us he pretty much tried to even it up straightaway. The Lino down the east stand was awful mind, made some bad decisions.

Probably stuggling to get refs to keep in the game due to all the abuse they get,from players and fans.I've watched teenage officials at U12 games get so much grief during games.It's dreadful. Who'd be a ref ? they must be mad !! The decent ones prob have more sense and take up bowls.
Alf Bentley Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 Generally, they're pretty poor, but I reckon both Saturday's ref and tonight's were very fair and highly competent. Wasn't the ref's fault we dropped 2 crucial points, it was ours.
Donut Posted 12 April 2011 Posted 12 April 2011 The referee's are always good when youre winning 4-0. Tonights referee had a good game. He played advantage well and generally speaking was very consistent IMO
