Rant from a London teenager

Recommended Posts

Appropriate title I hope, 2 hours and 15 minutes ago I was walking around my house with a face like thunder and fists clenched together wondering how we can bang 4 past Burnley and then draw 1-1 to fourth bottom Palace in a matter of 4 days. Prior to tonights game I fully expected Sven to make changes such as bringing in Bruma and Naughton. I was glad to see that Sven stuck with a winning formula as the starting 11 from Saturday all deserved their place. Tonight was a frustrating affair, listening on BBC London radio I had to endure the constant talk of Palace and how well theyre doing etc.....now that would have been okay had we won. As a London teenager its hard to go up to Leicester regularly to see the blues play, but what was different from Saturday to tonight?? Were we less direct, less fluent or just rubbish or was the quality of the opposition just better tonight because to be honest it sounded like CP set out to kill our passing game and restrict us to very few chances. It's amazing to think we're still within 4 points of 6th place, when we slip up it would appear to have a knock on effect with those teams around us. Of course this is a good thing in some respects but

bloody irritating in another. I'm unsure as to wether or not I want to go on saturday, I feel let down and I think we'll get beaten. I don't know what this post is about, I guess I just want to know what went wrong. 

Aha, I know mate just messing around.

But its just the difference is Palace were up for it. If Weale hadn't made an error, we probably would have won. Don't dwell on it though, nothing we can do about it now.

Maths and me = not friends! I need to get back on a high for Saturday I suppose, I just feel down tis all but yeah you're right.

Do you support LCFC Because your posts are always so negative

Ha.

The yawn was at the rant, everyone's frustrated.

And, if I'm honest, I think you'll find I'm one of the more level headed members, that doesn't just have two settings, those being ecstasy and despair. I've always said that what Sven has done, since he arrived, has been a terrific effort that mustn't be forgotten, no matter how many opportunities we've spurned to actually break into the top six.

I'll come on here after a defeat and try to pick out any positives if there are any, instead of over reacting like the majority of people who (unfortunately) use this forum nowadays. After the Norwich game when "it was all over, Sven out, rape Top, nuke Thailand etc etc," I was one of a fair few who posted sensibly, and I'm fairly sure a few will agree that I'm hardly a negative poster.

You either need to concentrate and read my posts a bit more, or take a look at some of the over-reactionary, doom mongering, retarded scrawlings that a few will spout on here after a defeat and use them as something to compare even my most negative of posts by.

nothing wrong with sharing his rant though really is there? he's voiced how we all feel and that can be a good thing to read our own thoughts....

I can vouch for this 100% and I have included a photo of Michael sporting his current Flattop Mullet haircut as proof.

Sorry mate but how can you say Weale made an error? The shot was swerving all over the place and maybe if the defence had of closed the guy down we would of won, please don't slate Weale he's been our best keeper in a long while!

It was Weale's fault, get over the fact the your bumboy made a mistake (like the several other ones he's made this season).

Goal was Weale's fault. The lad should've been closed down quicker as well though. Nothing wrong with the rant. The way we play football (slow, passing build-up rather than hoof'n'hope) means we're going to get games where teams can go ahead then stick 11 men behind the ball and we won't break them down. Should've won the game and if we'dve had a bit more luck we would've done. Trouble is a point aint quite good enough situation we're in.

The Championship's a great league because it's so unpredictable. We're more than capable of stuffing Reading on Sat.
