girlpower Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 Hi guys Donny fan in peace, just wanted to put a few things straight. We are only where we are because of the amount of injuries we've had in the second half of the season, we had 8 of our first team players out for a few games and only having a small squad, this was bound to hurt us. Anyway we've got a few back now but still missing Billy Sharp, who's out for the season. Moussa is by no means our best player, he's done ok in some games but still lacks experience, he tries to be a bit fancy with the footwork resulting in him giving the ball away a lot but he's definately improved since he came to us. Hope you appreciate the cheap tickets we're giving you £15 adults and £1 under 16, and are fetching a few to the Keepmoat. If you want a real pint of ale pop into the Toad Brewery, it's located across from the stadium( car-park 3) only £2 a pint and away fans welcome, there's lots of places to park around the ground, if you're coming on the train it's a good walk but you can get a taxi for a couple of quid. Hope you enjoy your day in Doncaster apart from the result of course, has you know we really need something from this game to secure our status in the championship,
Leicester_Loyal Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 I doubt you'll go down, because of the GD. And cheers for the post, I hope we see Moussa at least on the bench next season, hes a good little player and I think Sven sees some talent in him. I like Doncaster, they are a good club and I think they could get a mid table finish next year if they sign a couple of players and Billy Sharp keeps banging them in. Goodluck to Doncaster this season and the next.

Fox92 Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 Our last visit to the Keapmoat was a good one. I did like the ground that day, it seemed to have a big concourse, and a nice view. Its a nice little ground.

Foxybeaver Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 I'm planning going to uni at Doncaster not next year but the year after so I hope you don't go down I was planning on catching a few games
Jimmy Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 I like Donny as a club and their style is decent too, if we're keeping Waghorn a season loan to them, where he'd likely play every week could be good for all concerned
Beeson_lcfc Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 Any news on how many tickets are left? Gonna get down to the ticket office about half 8 to get them I think
MC Prussian Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 Sold roughly over 2'000 tickets so far, approx 200 left. Mentioned in the Ticket News and Travel thread.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 29 April 2011 Posted 29 April 2011 Yeah went to get tickets yesterday and roughly 2100 ish sold. Pissed off, got 5 tickets but not going now, didnt sort out the train and its gonna be 40 nuggets each on the day, not worth it. Luckily we bought 5 under 16 tickets for £1 each despite being 18 so its a good job we didnt pay £15 each otherwise it'd be more annoying.

However, buying 3 separate tickets (Leicester - Derby, Derby - Sheffield, Sheffield - Doncaster) could save you nearly £8. Too late for you now, but worth remembering for when we play there next season.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 30 April 2011 Posted 30 April 2011 leaving now!! Start early hopefully a good day! 3-1 city 16/1

girlpower Posted 30 April 2011 Author Posted 30 April 2011 Hi guys, hope those of you that came to the moat enjoyed your time in Doncaster. It wasn't the most entertaining game i've seen this season but i still enjoyed it and was glad of the vital point we needed for safety, but i must say apart from your goal, you lot were well quiet. Anyway good luck next season.
