Izzy Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 Shame their career ended up going down the Rick Witter. A crying shame really. It doesn't get ant better than this..
purpleronnie Posted 10 March 2016 Posted 10 March 2016 I remember going from house music, to the madchester scene, to grunge, to brit pop all within 5 years. Great time to be a teenager. I wonder if they'll be a decade like it again?...can there be with the internet, reality tv and tightening grip of the music corporations?. Must have been pretty boring growing up in the last 10 years.
MC Prussian Posted 25 March 2016 Posted 25 March 2016 And probably one of the most beautiful and most haunting songs of all time:
FireFox Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 The other night, James Iha joined Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin onstage for the first time in over 15 years.
separator Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 The other night, James Iha joined Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin onstage for the first time in over 15 years. Wow, no way. Loved the Pumpkins original line up... just need to drag D'Arcy from which ever crack den she's in to complete the set.
purpleronnie Posted 28 March 2016 Posted 28 March 2016 Been listening to quite a lot of 90's girl guitar bands, Sleeper, Echobelly, Elastica etc... Seems like the girl guitar bands are thin on the ground thesedays. Too many adele x factor wannabes and not enough sleater-kinney wannabes.
