lee7 Posted 9 May 2011 Posted 9 May 2011 It makes me laugh the amount of people that say 'we copied it off of man city so we shouldnt do it' or 'why should i pay to watch the football then turn my back to the pitch,' first of all we copy loads of chants off of different teams and if we werent allowed to sing a chant because we'd copied it we'd never sing at all then the stadium would be ****ing boring and lacking atmosphere. Secondly you do the poznan for like 20 seconds normally straight after a goal and you only miss 5 seconds of football Thousands of City fans joined in with chelsea dagger yet MK Dons and many other teams supporters in the football league all ready celebrated to that music.

And fell down an uncovered manhole on the way. 3. The Fosse Boys. Face it it isn't really working is it lads. Numbers looks to be decreasing if anything. I'm all for banners and loud noise but spotty kids from deepest Leicestershire pretending to be flamboyant Greeks and Italians on a pissing down Tuesday night, singing a groaning dirge with absolutely no words is ****ing horrible. (Although i don't blame them, they are the smart ones. **** paying all the money to be treated like shit). They well and truly ****ed themselves by trying to take on the club through the Leicester Mercury. They generally haven't gone about their business in a smart way either. I disagree with the second half of the quote though. You moaned of lack of originality when they tried to bring it. Singing old songs, creating new ones, bringing in flags and banners (until they were banned) etc. Generally trying not to be part of the 'who are ya!' thicko brigade and instead try and generate some unique 'Leicester only' atmosphere into the stadium.

Small pockets or people randomly around the stadium (some even facing the "wrong" way ) doing another team's celebration is just embarressing. So what would happen next time we play Man City? (Season after next ) I can just imagine the derrisive laughter from the Citizens.
