BrummieFOX Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Maynard - 3m Kamara - free Schlupp - young talent Sharp - 2m Yakubu - 2m Waghorn - he needs a run in the team, his poor form at start of the season cost him this season. We need different options so we dont become predictable. Well he isn't going to get one with Maynard, Kamara, Yakubu and Sharp ahead of him is he. I think who we sign will largely indicate the system we'll play next year. I do think Sven will continue with 4-3-3 and sign players to fit this formation.

Historically and on record as saying, Sven prefers a 4-4-2 formation.
millzi Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Historically and on record as saying, Sven prefers a 4-4-2 formation. Played a lot of 4-1-2-1-2 with England didn't he? Personally my favourite formation, strength in depth at the back and extra support behind the 2 strikers (in the name of Andy King).
ramadaone Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Nugent Yak Jason Roberts Robbie Keane Freddie Sears Benjani Jo - Reserve choice
Fox2323 Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Chopra started on the bench today he would be a good signing providing Cardiff don't go up
brockmyster Posted 13 May 2011 Posted 13 May 2011 Wouldnt mind Helguson as a replacement for howard as i think he's past it in the championship
BlooArmeh! Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Lita Nugent Yakubu Schlupp Maynard -I chose Lita as he is a work-horse And would probably suit being Yakubu's partner as they are opposites. Having said that, I hear Schlupp likes a run around and Maynards not the slowest of strikers...
ramadaone Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Jo I agree he's shocking but ex Man City so think there is a chance he's on Svens possible list - wouldn't be for me
Jakemoore Posted 14 May 2011 Posted 14 May 2011 Goodwillie and Cox would score plenty of Fanny and cvnt. This forums gone to the dogs
MrPeanut Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 me personally i believe we should offer Fabio Borini a contract his deal with chelsea expires at the end of the season they will be due compensation, but he looks a good prospect!!!

Too good for us, he said he wouldn't mind staying at Swansea, but I think he can do better, mid-table prem team would be well suited.
Simo86 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Too good for us, he said he wouldn't mind staying at Norwich, but I think he can do better, mid-table prem team would be well suited. Norwich? Last time I checked he was on loan at Swansea!
BlooArmeh! Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Norwich? Last time I checked he was on loan at Swansea! Ah crap
NGoloMode Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Why arent we going in for Jay Bothroyd. He's a free agent..
Simo86 Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Why arent we going in for Jay Bothroyd. He's a free agent.. For all we know we might be
MikeyT Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Nugent Yak Jason Roberts Robbie Keane Freddie Sears Benjani Jo - Reserve choice Not if he was the last striker on Earth.
MrSpaM Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Jo - Reserve choice Are we talking about the same Jo thats been nothing but slated by the man city fans all season for being utter shite? No thanks
80footgiraffe Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Before we talk about Earnshaw, please wait a few more days until we can snigger that the Trees have yet again fooked it up in the playoffs and we can get him; unfortunately, if they do go up, I think the 'Marvin The Martian' lookalike will rather play footie in the Prem. Anyway, just get him so he can't score goals against us. WAHEEEEY! I'D RATHER BE A FOX THAN A FOOKIN TREE! Earnshaw for the King Power Stadium 2011/12
KingDarius Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Earnshaw & Ebanks Blake realistic targets that score goals. Alongside Waghorn & Yak. Never thought of ebanks-blake , he'd be a class signing ! Make it happen sven
80footgiraffe Posted 19 May 2011 Posted 19 May 2011 Never thought of ebanks-blake , he'd be a class signing ! Make it happen sven yh, i only thought of him cuz i was playing fifa ad i was like....not bad not bad. I've posted a bit about him 2
Conscript Fox Posted 20 May 2011 Posted 20 May 2011 Shane Long, anyone ? out of contract at Reading I believe and his goals were a lot of the reason Reading soared into the play off spots as Leicester looked like they might, but didnt. Will have Prem options even if Reading dont go up, would be a real coup and signal of intent i reckon.
