Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 So, with West Ham, Blackpool and Birmingham relegated, who would you like to see at the Walkers next year? realistic options only please!
ajthefox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I can't imagine us having any of them. If players are going to leave the 3 relegated teams, I imagine they'll go to the prem instead of making a sideways move to us.
Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 Parker, Zigic, Doyle. Realistic? Meh, why not. i think Parker will go to Liverpool, Doyle will stay at Wolves and Zigic go back abroad to be honest.
ajthefox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I'd be amazed if Parker didn't end up at a premiership team, he's too good for this level. Forgot about Curtis Davies, quite amusing he'll be in the same division now!
Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 HAHA! totally forgot about Davies. however, i still wouldn't mind him at centre back if he wanted to play for us.
Fox92 Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 He is a Birmingham fan, and he probably would attract Premiership interest but... Craig Gardner.
AdamN Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 I can't imagine us having any of them. If players are going to leave the 3 relegated teams, I imagine they'll go to the prem instead of making a sideways move to us. Players can move for any number of reasons; being unhappy at their current club, location (could be closer to family, etc), wages, expectations for next season, Sven... I'd say there are only a few players in the relegated sides that are out of our grasp (thinking Parker, Ba, Adam, etc). After all, who would have thought we'd have signed the likes of Yakubu or Kamara this season? Martins would be a cracking signing. He'd probably be at the top of my wishlist of semi-realistic targets, although he is only on loan to Birmingham. Still worth a punt, I guess?
Adster Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 i think Parker will go to Liverpool, Doyle will stay at Wolves and Zigic go back abroad to be honest. I know mate, I was being sarcastic
Cropwellfox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Keith Southern or David Vaughan, although the latter is likely to stay in the prem.
Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 Even with Wolves escaping relegation, i'd take Ebanks-Blake, seeing as Doyle and Fletcher will be their main strikers. Also, how about Cameron Jerome??
Adster Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Even with Wolves escaping relegation, i'd take Ebanks-Blake, seeing as Doyle and Fletcher will be their main strikers. Also, how about Cameron Jerome?? If we can't get Cunningham. ELOKOBI.
ScouseFox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 Even with Wolves escaping relegation, i'd take Ebanks-Blake, seeing as Doyle and Fletcher will be their main strikers. Also, how about Cameron Jerome?? He's only scored 4 goals all season, he'd be loved by our fans. Sign him up
Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 He's only scored 4 goals all season, he'd be loved by our fans. Sign him up 7 goals mate if you mean Ebanks-Blake
ScouseFox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 7 goals mate Cameron Jerome I meant mate, he runs around quite a bit apparently. Can't finish and can't pass though, so our fans would love him
Aidy3 Posted 22 May 2011 Author Posted 22 May 2011 Cameron Jerome I meant mate, he runs around quite a bit apparently. Can't finish and can't pass though, so our fans would love him perfect partner for the Yak then even though i'd prefer Maynard!
ScouseFox Posted 22 May 2011 Posted 22 May 2011 We can just re-call DJ, surely? ! Fingers crossed he'll be back for next seasons play offs.
