The 24-year-old goalkeeper only moved to Elland Road last summer from Notts County, and was No.1 throughout the campaign. But he is now set to depart for the Walkers Stadium and is understood to be having a medical. Schmeichel is set to sign a three-year deal and will join up again with Sven Goran Eriksson, who he worked with at County and also Manchester City.
