Liverpool haven't ever won the Premier League, definitely can't see it next season. Man City will definitely be up there, feel it could be their year, a little bit excited to see who they are going to sign over the summer with all their riches.

Amazingly the "premier league" did exist before 1992 - all the modern day version is is a re-named version of the league thats been going for over a century.

The Doctor Posted 6 June 2011 Posted 6 June 2011 They've still never won the Premier League. well they have, it just wasn't going under that moniker when they won it. By the same basis you could say city have never won the championship because it was called division two when we last won it. It's still the same bloody league.
StanSP Posted 6 June 2011 Posted 6 June 2011 Just been sent a link to a Norwich forum cos they been linked with Osman of Everton. Some of the shit they are saying is cringeworthy but hilarious. First post on 2nd page, the guy thinks they can finish in top 10 and push for top 6 lol http://services.pinkun.com/FORUMS/PINKUN/CS/forums/1/2558779/ShowPost.aspx#2558779

They'll struggle to stay up next year IMO.

Amazingly the "premier league" did exist before 1992 - all the modern day version is is a re-named version of the league thats been going for over a century. I'm talking about the PREMIER LEAGUE though, not Division 1 or whatever it was before, I've only been alive since the start of the Premier League, and they have never won one of them. Whatever you want to call it and whatever stats you wanna spout out, go ahead, I'm just stating my opinion and they will NOT win the 'whatever you want to call it league' next season. They've still never won the Premier League. Thank you

Thank you they've never won it in your life time. Sorry 'bout this, it just really pisses me off when people make comments about teams never doing something on the basis that they haven't done it since sky got involved, as if football didn't exist until murdoch got his grubby mitts on the sport.

Correct. You can keep trying to start an argument but you're boring me now, I stated my opinion and you're tryna slate me for it, ZZZZ. We will just see at the end of the season won't we...
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 They've still never won the Premier League. And not going to any time soon
The Doctor Posted 8 June 2011 Posted 8 June 2011 Correct. You can keep trying to start an argument but you're boring me now, I stated my opinion and you're tryna slate me for it, ZZZZ. We will just see at the end of the season won't we... no, you said they'd never won a title and i slated you for that. I agree liverpool won't win it next season but to say they've never won it is down right murdoch-sucking.

Liverpool haven't ever won the Premier League Emphasis on the multicoloured writing in bold...

I think that Liverpool could have a very good chance next season.
millzi Posted 10 June 2011 Posted 10 June 2011 Well, neither have Man City... I think that Liverpool could have a very good chance next season. True, but they will just buy bucket loads of the best players and you expect them to perform, although you shouldn't just put all the best players in the World together and expect them to be good but we'll see. As long as they keep hold of Tevez they'll be alright. Although I do like Liverpool investing a lot of money on good British talent like Jordan Henderson, I would like them to do well but don't think they're good enough yet to win the league.

BlueSi13 Posted 11 June 2011 Posted 11 June 2011 In terms of the Championship, i think West Ham United and Birmingham City are going to absolutely smash it, its going to be Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion from a couple years back all over again
StanSP Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 Rumours that McLeish has left Birmingham. Not concrete as yet.
shailen Posted 12 June 2011 Posted 12 June 2011 I think the championship isnt as strong as ppl make it out to be! West ham and bham will lose their best players...and will have to rebuild for the future. I see blackpool as more of a threat lool! Cardiff and forest wont be up there...forest stupid to sack davis and cardiff have lost their best players. Reading do look a serious threat but they can be beaten on their day, and middlesborough look a decent team. Apart from that, we are good enough to compete at worst for the play offs.
