When we signed Mills it all happened very quickly and there was minimal stuff in the press leading up to his unveiling so it's not as if he can be annoyed about us using the press to get his captain. I remember reading comments from him the other week along the lines of "Leicester are linked to everyone's players that's not how we do things here at Reading". Of course we are going to be linked with a lot of players, we've got money. But it's not us that are making the links, more often than not it's agents looking for moves for their clients. And of course we were linked with about 10 players on deadline day. Has he not noticed, despite supposedly keeping such a close eye on our dealings, that we were desperate for a striker. We had to go for ten with the hope of getting one or two. And in the end it's a good job we did cos we ended up with Beckford. Sven saying about being unhappy with Rangers for going public on the Jelavic bid renders his whinges as officially bullsh*t.

If someone is happy in their job then they wouldn't care anyway. The only winner is the employee, they can demand more money or fook off. So what? It's only frowned upon in football because they earn a shed load of cash already (doing something they genuinely enjoy no less!) but if anyone pretended they wouldn't like being head hunted themselves then they're talking bollocks.
