WigWamBam Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 Same to you i suppose it did sound a bit gay what i posted but i was just backing up the fact that my dad really does work with someone who knows Adeybyor and he had mentioned him coming to Leicester!
STUHILL Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 Only one more striker to come in then. Always thought it might be two we were looking at. Just wonder if this striker, if Maynard etc got injured, we would go back to where we are now with limited (quality) options. So front 3 of Nugent, ?Maynard?, Gallagher looks possible with Vassel, Howard, Schlupp and maybe Waggy as backup
ramboacdc Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 if adebayor comes to leicester city i will buy everyone a shirt from the city shop at the first home game of the season and pay for them to have his name put on the back. theres more chance of my 1 year old daughter getting signed for leicester as the star striker. also @akickintheblog AKickintheBlogocks Strooth, Foxes talk are discussing my tweet re: 7&3 is the strikers name. I merely listened to Paul Weller on the way home from work!
Lester LXXIV Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 [quote name='STUHILL' So front 3 of Nugent, ?Maynard?, Gallagher looks possible with Vassel, Howard, Schlupp and maybe Waggy as backup How depressing if that's the case!
Scoobyrob Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 It's got to be Adebayor! Arsenal..... Man City..... Real Madrid..... Leicester City it's a natural progression the lads only trying to further his career
ramboacdc Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 It's got to be Adebayor! Arsenal..... Man City..... Real Madrid..... Leicester City it's a natural progression the lads only trying to further his career stranger things have happened at this club. nothing surprises me these days.
STUHILL Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 How depressing if that's the case! It is when we have such a strong midfield. Can't help but think we need Maynard plus another striker, especially if Waggy goes
Happy Fox Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 It's got to be Adebayor! Arsenal..... Man City..... Real Madrid..... Leicester City it's a natural progression the lads only trying to further his career It is not really that laughable, who would of thought that we would have Sven as our manager, when we are in the Prem their will be a few surprises I am sure ( nothing cryptic )
MikeyT Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 I have just signed in after being out most of the day to hear people on about us signing Adebayor on loan. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 the 8 million figure came from the tweet someone posted earlier http://twitter.com/#!/m1chaelw1lson m1chaelw1lson michael wilson @ @VampLCFC it comes from a swedish journalist friend he would NOT say who we shall see 4 hours ago m1chaelw1lson michael wilson @ @VampLCFC only what i heard today dont knew who wish i did 4 hours ago m1chaelw1lson michael wilson @ @13thoughts he has hadclose links with sven in the past he said 8.5million would love to know who 4 hours ago m1chaelw1lson michael wilson @ @13thoughts its from a swedish journalist he would not say who 4 hours ago m1chaelw1lson michael wilson Big offer gone in from #LCFC crazy money for unamed PL player? 4 hours ago BTW this is not me, i'm not even on twitter
David Guiza Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 Some people on here would be experts at 3-2-1, I'm only 19 I shouldn't know that programme existed.
NeilyBoy Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 If Maynard was interested he would be here by now and I think SGE was banking on Bristol taking the money. They haven't and have held out to keep their man and fair do's to them but I think that has left SGE scrambling for another striker and there isn't much choice left because none of the premier league targets will drop a league and most of the other possible targets have been snapped up. Something about not putting all your eggs in one basket springs to mind!! At least someone had some clarity amidst the sheer lunacy going off left, right and centre.
Wherethefoxhat? Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 Adebayor in a City shirt... This must be a joke, surely. Sincerely hope so....need him like a hole in the head !!! Football bloody mercenerie ffs ! No bloody thankyou !
body102 Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 All this Adebeyor talk was just a mis quote from Sven talking about his Emmanuel porn collection
Toffee_Fox Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 So everyone has got we've signed a superstar, or a £8.5m player from... Someone tweeting a paul weller song and someone with 19 followers who has no previous tweeting history of news regarding us?
ajthefox Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 This is absolutely absurd. What's worse is someone saying they wouldn't take him. What an utter joke that is.
CKB Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 This is absolutely absurd. What's worse is someone saying they wouldn't take him. What an utter joke that is. I was more or less going to say the same Madness!!
MPH Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 You can not deny that this has been quite an interesting summer..... thank you to everyone on FT for helping me through the summer!
Raw Dykes Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Some people on here would be experts at 3-2-1, I'm only 19 I shouldn't know that programme existed. That game show should have been called "What am I thinking?". "The clue is a big apple." "Is it a trip to New York?" "No, think about it - apples are green, so are frogs, frogs croak, so do dead people. What don't dead people do? They don't get in hot air balloons! It's a day out in a hot air balloon!" "Oh, of course it is! So obvious. Anyway, thanks for the bin with a face drawn on it." On a side note, it is more likely we'll sign Dusty Bin than Adebayor.

Yes but it was really funny as a kid to do the 3-2-1 hand movements the opposite way round giving the V sign on 2. Hours of hillarity would always ensue on that....
Happy Fox Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 It is not really a twitter rumour http://www.skysports.com/football/transfers/your-rumours/0,26732,16620,00.html Chris Dean (Leeds United) says... Robbie Keane to Leicester - season long loan or permanent. This comes from a mate who is a therapist/masseur at the club, he's been having talks, looks nailed on. FeedTheYakLCFC Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 This isnt off twitter but on the sky sports rumours it's supposedly Robbie Keane
