By the end of August he was a Blackpool player. Means nothing

Even if they have accepted a bid from us, doesn't mean Maynard could agree terms etc and lots of deals fall through. Giving him squad number is just the standard i think. No one knows which way this one will go yet. Well no one who posts on here anyway so no point saying it's off until confirmed
