ScouseFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Aye, forgot Trott not being there left us a few overs short, probably why they leant towards Bopara. I like him as well because when he was really shit in that Ashes series he took all the criticism on the chin and went back to county cricket (not that he had much choice) to make himself a better player. Shame for him Trott came in and adapted brilliantly, can't see Bopara in at 3/4 any time soon, unless he has a few miraculous innings' here.
RowlattsFox Posted 6 August 2011 Posted 6 August 2011 Is Tremlett fit again? because if he is then I don't think Bopara will play, think we might go with 5 bowlers as Bresnan doesn't deserve to be dropped. Bopara was always the next batsman in line, it was either him or Morgan going into the summer. Taylor's time will come, this would be a bit too soon for him.

I can't see us changing from a four man attack. I'm not sure how we'll work that, mind!

That`s why Bopara is in. He`ll bowl if needed, like Trott does...
I am Rod Hull Posted 7 August 2011 Posted 7 August 2011 Zaheer Khan out for the rest of the series...
Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Sehwag is unfit, out of practice and has always struggled against the swinging ball. When a batsman comes out to bat bookies open up an even book on above/under runs, Sehwag usually about 35/36 depending on batsman's ability. Have a massive bet on the under, he wont be able to cope with Anderson and the new ball. kerching
Dylan Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Broad looking sharp. If conditions stay the same, I can see India being bowled out cheaply today.
FoxyPV Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 Broad needs to catch himself on or else people will think he's actually a decent cricketer
Guest MattP Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 What's the next Indian excuse then now Gambhir and Sehwag have gone? Gavasker injured?
marko Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 What's the next Indian excuse then now Gambhir and Sehwag have gone? Gavasker injured? It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest. My guess is going to be tiredness or the pitch.
Narborough_fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Nah it will be the disturbances from last night with all the police helicopters and sirens they didn't get any sleep.
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 One from Jimmy that doesn't move, straight through the gate, middle stump. 92/5 and dangerously close to that ridiculously poor tail.
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 This could all be over very soon. Unlucky if you've got tickets for the weekend I'd have thought
ScouseFox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Finally broke that tricky partnership, shouldn't take much to remove 10 and 11 now.
Brown Fox Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 What's the next Indian excuse then now Gambhir and Sehwag have gone? Gavasker injured? That in actuality we're ****ing shit
Corky Posted 10 August 2011 Posted 10 August 2011 Great to see Strauss looking composed again at the crease, just need Cook to go on now and pass fifty.
FoxyPV Posted 10 August 2011 Author Posted 10 August 2011 Credit where credit's due. England. WTF has happened to India?!
