My mate who's a Huddersfield fan just sent me this. http://www.examiner.co.uk/huddersfield-town-fc/huddersfield-town-news/2011/06/03/alex-smithies-and-lee-peltier-could-be-set-to-leave-huddersfield-town-86081-28812280/ It's not very clear if it's Smithies and Peltier we're in for or just Smithies, but my mate says Smithies is a class keeper for his age and would be a good signing. Don't know enough about him myself to say whether he'd make an instant impact, or whether he's one for the future.

Sorry, always wanted to do that... Jokes aside, he looks good going forwards and he's got some pace and tricks. However, he looks AWFUL (relatively) defending.

Think we tried to sign him last season...but back to the thread title on Smithies, I think it's the right time for him to make the step up and think leicester would be the right move i'd accept 1m....though he's cheaper on FM11

About right for a goalkeeper of his calibre
