Parafox Posted 5 June 2011 Author Posted 5 June 2011 Having looked through a lot on this site, i don't think many are fake... there's too many totally hilarious ones that are so obscure that they couldn't be contrived, I just typed "office work" as part of a message and "work" became "dork" Not that funny, but wierd. It seems to happen if you're texting quickly and miss a letter or two in a word, the phone auto-completes with a word it "thinks" is closest
The Doctor Posted 5 June 2011 Posted 5 June 2011 This reminds me of googles auto-complete function. Might have been on here i saw them but there are some good ones out there. Type "Is M" into google and the options that come up include ""Is Margaret Thatcher Dead" - given that auto-complete is (i think) influenced by the frequency of a search being made it doesn't bode well for the witch of the right wing, looks like a large chunk of the world want her head on a pike.

Before I had a phone which would AutoCorrect, I used to take the piss thinking 'How hard can it be to write something so wrong?'. Now I understand! With big fingers and little margin for error, some of the mistakes are understandable. I should really check before I send texts. It's so bad when drunk too
