Haydos Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 I defrosted my freezer with a hammer earlier. No need to turn it off, done in about 10 minutes. There are so many women that would have turned it off, left it overnight, soaked the water up with towels, blah blah blah. Hammer + Washing up bowl = Job done. What other stuff do you do that's much quicker if carried out in a testosterone fuelled manner?
Saxondale Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 I literally did the same thing the other day! Great big lumphammer. Job done.
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 everythings quicker when fueled by testosterone, women faf about too much.

We had to go and buy a new one the following day
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 My wife defrosted ours with a screw driver a couple of years ago. We had to go and buy a new one the following day  did you not think to tell her that defrosting a freezer and trying to take it apart weren't the same thing?
VinceNoir Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Hahaha that's great! I used to "iron" my shirts by putting them under my mattress before I went to bed. Obviously not as man-like as your freezer defrosting, but still a man's way of solving a ironing problem I suppose.
Rocket-Ron Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 did you not think to tell her that defrosting a freezer and trying to take it apart weren't the same thing? You never tell them how things should be done . FACT .
Cat Burger Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Sharpening pencils with a stanley knife is my bag.
The Doctor Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 You never tell them how things should be done . FACT . Regardless if they don't take kindly to being given instructions, they need to be told how to do it so that they do it right.
AoWW Posted 30 June 2011 Posted 30 June 2011 Sharpening pencils with a stanley knife is my bag. Meh, lame. I use one of these for sharpening 'em....

Unit Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 Dad had a bruise under his thumb nail, refused to go to hospital and so instead clamped his thumb in a vice, put a blowtorch to a drill (sterilised, he's not that stupid) bit and drilled exactly enough through the nail to allow the bruise to bleed out. like a pro.
cambridgefox Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 About time we had a thread dedicated to one of the best bands of all time Good song, but i was into "Hunters and Collectors" is that a big no no in oz? The Doctor Posted 1 July 2011 Posted 1 July 2011 Opening wine bottles isn't improved by a testosterone injection. Getting drinks for people and i need to open a new bottle of wine, get the corkscrew out, drive it in as far as possible then screw and attempt to remove. The bottle remains sealed so I repeat that several times, failing to open it. I hand the bottle over and it turns out it was a screw open bottle rather than a cork bottle.
Haydos Posted 1 July 2011 Author Posted 1 July 2011 I'd say opening a bottle with your teeth is a thing all men should do but some people think it's weird. Probs won't be saying that the day I crack a tooth

Probs won't be saying that the day I crack a tooth Can't say I've ever tried it, don't intend on doing it either, I hate to think how much getting a cracked tooth might cost to repair.
