Fox92 Posted 2 December 2011 Posted 2 December 2011 Paddy McCarthy has just scored a great own goal against Derby at Selhurt Park, which has made the score 1-1.
Happy Fox Posted 6 December 2011 Posted 6 December 2011 Barnsley 1-0 Crystal Palace Vaz Te with the goal
Simmo86 Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 4 wins in a row for Barnsleh! Now above us and only 2 points off the playoffs. Shambles that we can't get back to back wins!
davieG Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 Hoos the new CEO at Burnley The American, 50, who becomes the first overseas CEO at Turf Moor, previously held the position at Southampton and Leicester having initially started his time in football in the boardroom at Fulham alongside Mohamed Al Fayed. Hoos replaces Paul Fletcher, who confirmed late last month his intention to step down after almost four years at the Championship club. Hoos said: "It's a privilege to be named chief executive of Burnley Football Club and I am absolutely delighted to be joining a club that, in my opinion, is going places. "Burnley has an excellent board of directors and, as a longstanding admirer, a very, very good manager in Eddie Howe. I know the people - and chairman Barry Kilby in particular - because I have been in football here for a while now and when I heard about the opportunity to work here it was a chance I couldn't pass up. I come here with high hopes and the number one priority has to be to get this club back into the Premier League." Hoos added: "When I first started in football here at an executive level it was a culture shock and people probably wondered what a 'yank' knew about football. But in the football world I'd like to think I've proved myself. I've worked at three clubs now and gained lots of experience."

Finchy Posted 7 December 2011 Posted 7 December 2011 I can't see Hull lasting, they were pretty rubbish against us really and they' lost the last two. I'm glad Birmingham have lost though, they were starting to look really good a few weeks back, maybe the European games are starting to catch up with them.
Corky Posted 8 December 2011 Posted 8 December 2011 That's the thing with Birmingham, the eight extra league games will catch up with them. But they should take the Europa League seriously, they may never get into it again.
daib0 Posted 9 December 2011 Posted 9 December 2011 I'd never taken Barnsley seriously, but got told this the other day: Keith Hill's record is amazing. When he became Caretaker manager at Rochdale halfway through the season they were in the relegation places and he got them to 9th. Then he took over full time and got them to the play-offs twice in a row before getting promoted automatically and now has got Barnsley looking like potential play-off contenders.

Dylan Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Southampton 1-2 Blackpool Southampton keeper having a nightmare.
Soar Fox Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Southampton 1-2 Blackpool Southampton's reserve keeper looks quality Makes Weale look worldclass.
I am Rod Hull Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 I was wondering if Weale had gone out on loan Looks like they`ve just dragged someone out the crowd... 93rd minute Lambert goal 2-2
leicesterisme Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Barnsley were 2-0 up against Ipswich, now losing 4-2!
accessory Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Hope it stays that way, as the score will move us up a place.
Corky Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Top two both drop points, and we can't make any real inroads for a second week.
Corky Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 That is a serious collapse by Barnsley, after the run they'd been on.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Dont rate either Barnsley or Ipswich, though that revival was needed for Paul Jewell. Though I dont rate Hull or Leeds and look where they are comapred to us.
