Happy Fox Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 This league is so piss poor the fact that we are lingering in upper midtable says it all really we should be doing so much better.
I am Rod Hull Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 This league is so piss poor the fact that we are lingering in upper midtable says it all really we should be doing so much better. Piss poor or competitive ? I think its great..
Fox92 Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Just had a look on Sky Sports and saw the final score at Oakwell. Barnsley 3-5 Ipswich Didn't expect that. And, does anyone know why Peterborough boo St. Ledger? peterborofox maybe? I know he came through their youth system and left. I expected them to clap him today, and I didn't expect the boo's and singing of his name. Just wondered.
leicesterisme Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 I can remember on that Ron Atkinson programme he seemed like a right arrogant cvnt, maybe that's why. Or did he leave in bad circumstances or something?

"Delbert is a willy puller, Delbert is a willy puller, la,la,la,laa,- la,la,la,laaa" ! He just stood and stared at us with his hands on his hips...
Narborough_fox Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Millwall fans sining songs about Gary Speed today vs Cardiff. One being this... suicide, suicide, suicide and oh gary gary, gary gary gary gary hung himself. Really are scum.
Asha Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 Southampton keeper having a nightmare. To be fair, Białkowski isn't a bad keeper at all. I can remember a few years back at the Walkers he had a cracking game for Southampton, contributing to Leicester's FA Cup exit that year. Definitely a bit of a howler today, but as with Weale, they're both very good keepers at this level and have just made a slight little error. Just as (despite the rare glaring error) Rob Green isn't a shit keeper, nor is Paul Robinson, or Scott Carson.

Asha Posted 10 December 2011 Posted 10 December 2011 I agree well apart from the Carson part. He is crap. I'm glad about that. You're a keeper right? Doesn't it forever annoy you that attackers and midfielders can make a myriad of small errors every game and this goes relatively unnoticed, yet a keeper can make even only one small mistake in his career and be forever considered 'shit'?

I am and yes but it's the risks you take with being a 'keeper. Carson makes to many high-profile mistakes to be an England international/ top quality goalkeeper. Green and Robinson are brilliant goalies and as you say one mistake seems to have ruined their careers but it's different for Carson because he makes to many.

He made himself look vwery bad in that Big Ron documentary when Ron atkinson helped manage Posh (I havent seen it so cant comment), and the fans never really liked him after this. I dont think they particularly rated him either and were hardly upset when he went,
Basingstoke Fox Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Portsmouth v Southampton to kick off soon. Huge Derby down in Hampshire. Come on Portsmouth, I hate Southampton!
lcfcadam Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Portsmouth v Southampton to kick off soon. Huge Derby down in Hampshire. Come on Portsmouth, I hate Southampton! One of the dullest football matches I've ever been unfortunate enough to watch so far!
Basingstoke Fox Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 One of the dullest football matches I've ever been unfortunate enough to watch so far! Yeah I'd agree with that . Mainly down to Portsmouth's negative approach. Quite tense at the end. I do admire the noise that Portsmouth generate at Fratton Park though!
Corky Posted 18 December 2011 Posted 18 December 2011 Portsmouth v Southampton to kick off soon. Huge Derby down in Hampshire. Come on Portsmouth, I hate Southampton! Pretty rare league meeting for such a fierce rivalry.
Matt Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Just noticed whatever happens in tonights game (Crystal Palace v Birmingham) we'll drop another place tonight. Fantastic.
Asha Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Heading towards a draw, which is ok for us. Is it? I think I'm right in believing that a draw sees us drop two places, with a win for either only seeing us drop one.
Corky Posted 19 December 2011 Posted 19 December 2011 Is it? I think I'm right in believing that a draw sees us drop two places, with a win for either only seeing us drop one. We'd only drop one place, due to scoring more goals than Birmingham, and it would mean Palace go a point ahead with Birmingham level. Palace winning now so they'll go three ahead.

Father Ted Posted 26 December 2011 Posted 26 December 2011 Its just a shame Bristol City couldn't have beaten Cov today else Cov would be 11 from safety and Forest 3, instead Cov are now 5 from safety and Forest in the relegation zone thanks to goal difference
