hackneyfox Posted 28 July 2011 Author Posted 28 July 2011 The star as well, it must be true. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/203441/Leicester-looking-to-hijack-Swansea-s-Leroy-Lita-deal/
topharry123 Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 All the talk of Adebayor, Maynard, Heskey and this is who we're officially linked with now? No thanks, not good enough and no better than what we have now. Far too much money as well.
Jon25747 Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 This is rather underwhelming considering the lunacy that is Adebayour
body102 Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 hope not , he didn't want to come 2 seasons ago . He is no better than what we have now
hackneyfox Posted 28 July 2011 Author Posted 28 July 2011 Hopefully just lazy journalism. 20 in 81 for the smoggies, I'd hope so. He won't cost 8.5m and 7 and 3 aren't involved.
NeilyBoy Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 I'd be worried if a real newspaper was reporting it. Whatever happened to the Yak?

No thanks, not good enough and no better than what we have now. Far too much money as well. Doubtful, but maybe replacement for Waghorn, if the Maynard deal for 4mil + Waggy deal comes off?
Jobyfox Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 He can go forth as far as I'm concerned. Turned us down for Middlesbrough when we couldn't afford his wage demands. Now we can afford them, frankly we can do much better than this!

The Doctor Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 The Sun & The Star are official?????? you can trust the information the sun prints, sourced straight from the involved parties mouths (or rather phones). Cheap digs aside both pamphlets (can't justify the use of newspaper for either of them) are completely pointless & will never report anything of any relevance. Edit: And what's all this about adebayor?
LestaFox92 Posted 28 July 2011 Posted 28 July 2011 This is rather underwhelming considering the lunacy that is Adebayour Obviously someones hiding this thread from me adebayour?

CKB Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Near on 2 mil price tag aswell for a player who joined Middlesborough on a free and didn't really do much last season..... ...no thanks!!
kingfox Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Good player but not really capable of scoring 20 goals. Think he is a certain for Swansea, wouldn't mind him at Leicester but we should be concentrating on better strikers rather than Lerory Lita.
Toffee_Fox Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Can someone copy and paste it please, That particular newspaper is banned on all work computers since I'm based in Liverpool, no newspaper agents sell the rag either so won't be able to have a cheeky read in the morning and I'm on a night shift!
themotivator Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 you arent really missing much... Leicester ready to hijack Swansea’s deal for Leroy LitaPublished: Today Add a comment (0) LEICESTER are trying to hijack Swansea's deal for Leroy Lita by offering him £15,000 a week. The Swans have had a £1.75million bid accepted for the Middlesbrough striker but cannot compete with the Foxes' wages.
John Matrix Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 smells like his agent trying to wrangle him higher wages. no way we'd be in for him.
teblin Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Would be a strange one, we already have channel runners in vassel and nugent.
Dicko Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 I hope this isn't true. If we end up going for this guy it really smacks of desperation. Average striker. We can do a lot better.
phildw Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 Desperation signing. Confirms we've ran out of options if true - which is very worrying. SSN reporting we are offering £15000 a week!! Oh my lord - what a totally uninspiring final signing this would be after all the excitement and talk of a decent 20 goal a season striker coming it. Average player doesn't quite do his description justice. Please please please stick in a transfer request Mr Maynard!!
phildw Posted 29 July 2011 Posted 29 July 2011 I thought he had signed for Swansea? Not thrashed out personal contract at Swansea yet and according to papers and SSN Sven is trying to hijack transfer and bring him to Leicester.
