Forest Away

Recommended Posts

Quite a large chunk of the front sat last season and the season before that!

Really, I was relatively close to the front last season (row H) and didn't see anyone sitting, although its quite hard to see if people are sitting when you're surrounded by standers.

My memory of the game is a bit poor though  so may be remembering wrong.

Be careful about getting under 18 if you are older or look older and dont have ID. Forest stewards made you show tickets at some barriers before even getting to the turnstiles, anyone who didnt have the right ticket age had to go and get an adult from their TO.

Haha. The day we got thrashed by Forest (5-1) me and some friends had tickets in the forest end. 3 Student tickets, all of us 23/34 and one student card. No surprise we got id'd. No surprise the student id was handed to the person standing behind them. And the person behind them. Easy...

Personally I'd say 90-95% stood at Cov. Only front 3 rows sat I think.

On the right hand side yeah. Left hand side quite a few sat.

I was at the top left corner of our support and had a decent view.

I was put on the front row last season at Forest but ended up just moving at kick off and standing with some randomers. Didn't bother me one bit and they didn't care either. It's really easy to move around at Forest because other than the first couple of rows most people stand. Also saw a lot of people walk to the bottom look at each other and say '**** off am I sitting' and just moved and found a gap. Think more or less all will stand at Forest considering so many stood at Cov!

Hi all,

Just a quick question regarding Forest away. I read on here a few days ago something to do with a police escort from the train station to the City Ground and was wondering if anyone had some more information on it?

Is it necessary to go with the escort, and what time does it leave the Train Station?

Thanks.

I managed to get past it last time. Just headed the opposite way from the crowd and waited a ffew minutes for the majority of people to disperse before leaving

As long as your not wearing colors, I agree with Sam, act conspicious, avoid the large crowd and be on your way!!

Just saw a comment about trains and didnt want to start a new thread.

Just wondering how the train stewards or whatever there called go about the age of people with tickets? Me and a few friends are all 16 and was wondering if we would be ok getting away with 5-15 prices on trains to places? Also, what happens if they dont believe your 5-15 years of age, what do they do about it?

Cheers for any help! :)

Always do this I'm 16 also.

If they ask you for ID, ask them what kind of ID you're supposed to have as a 15 year old.
