Does anyone have a tales to tell about Leicester in oppositions ends? My dad told me one about when we played Sheffield United, our away end was sold out and we had loads of fans in there kop and both stands down the sides.

When Dyer (I think) scored, I jumped up as I couldn't control myself and about got filled in by 10 Nothampton fans. They complained to stewards, but they said I was ok and left me. I was getting evils and missiles thrown at me all game. It really didn't go down well, and I wouldn't reccomend it. If it wasn't for the fact I was with the sponsers of Northampton, I most deffinitely would of got jumped on. Got the adrenaline running though
davieG Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I've been in some away ends and never had any problems but I've seen what can happen even in our Kop. I've witnessed a young girl (10-12) being verbally abused in the most horrific way by so called LCFC fans for daring to show herself to be supporter of Liverpool FC even though she was with her Mum who was obvious to anyone an LCFC supporter. Left me ashamed to be a Leicester fan that day.

Oh MK Dons away in League 1 there were a few people in the home end right next to the away stand, kept trying to sneek under the black netting but was unsuccessful every time so in the end he stayed in the MK Dons end and then Gradel scored the last minute free-kick he went mental ran over the netting and whipped off his jumper to reveal a Leicester top. Moment of magic. I'm in a box for Saturday so I'm hoping we stuff 'um just to see the faces of all the "fans" near me.

Guest MattP Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I got a slap at Liverpool about 10-12 years ago in the main stand, the old Anfield Road end was being built and no tickets were given to away fans, we got two in and said we would sit there quiet, wasnt going to be hard as we werent expecting anything, we score to go 1-0 up after about 90 secs (think it was Elliott) and then spend the next 80 mins watching them pound our goal. Said to my mate about 5 mins from the end I'm gonna have to go on 90 because I'll go nuts when the final whistle goes, literally after saying it we launch a counter and Heskey is away, shoots and the ball is parried...... Fenton is charging it to knock the rebound home, ball hits the net at the kop end and we are both charging down the aisle with our arms in the air. Dodged a couple of swings getting out
lestajigs Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I did it at Peterborough when we were in league one, sort off gave it away when they scored the first I stayed sat down, then they scored a second I was like this is ****ing shit!!, then all there fans started singing (first time for 80min) so I left muttering how shit there support was, everyone was staring at me and my mate, knowing we were city fans, but didn't say a thing!! Lucky really!!!
ramboacdc Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 ive seena few fans knocking about when we were in the premier league. mostly man u and liverpool. but if they are kids and your a leicester fan thats fair enough. they aint going to cause any trouble at all and just wanna be with their mum/dad/auntie/uncle whatever. didnt one team (im thinking forest) make a stand for both sets of fans (aka without segrigation)? i wish we could have that one day but i dont hold a high hope of it. theres always some wankers who wanna ruin the party. if rugby fans can do it i dont see why football fans cant.

I wouldn't support that at all. I love having an away end. Adds more atmosphere and tension to the game etc.
Jackirius Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Been at Carrow Road a few times when Leicester have been playing sitting in the home end because I left it too late to book tickets, I remember when we played them around 4 or 5 years ago and I was sitting In their version of the kop, we went 1-0 up and I started going crazy. By the end of the game we lost 3-1 I think and I had the whole stand singing, 'who are ya, who are ya' at me. All in good spirits though.

accessory Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Gone behind enemy lines a few times - but the classic occasion was the first season at Pride Park where Derby gave us too few tickets and we had to go in a home area incognito. It was the famous game where we went 4-0 up after 15 minutes. A sense of unease gathered around our block - caused not, as we imagined, by distressed sheep, but by hordes of Foxes desperately trying not to wet ourselves laughing!
Daggers Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I've sat in the main stand for all bar two games at The City Ground. Gone into the home end at Derby, Sunderland, Ipswich and Leeds. There'll be loads of others I can't remember at the moment. Being a City fan made it easy though - we're great at not making any noise and contributing to the atmosphere...

We had won tickets for an executive box on a radio competiton of some sort. Man City scored. Our box went wild. Derby fans turned round and the looks and abuse was unreal! It really was an experience. I'd love to do it again.

Went behind, think it was an own goal, Andy Impey maybe. Then Sir Les smashed in a free kick on the stroke of half time, I just about managed to contain myself as an excited 9 year old. We took the lead and I let out a bit of a high pitched squeal, which my Uncle (Evertonian) masked as a sort of scream of horror. Obviously as was the story of that season they scored twice late on to take the win, Tomaz Radzinski I think got the winner, although it was Rooney who changed the game, and I had to look pleased with the outcome. Not sure I'd want to do it now I'm old enough to have abuse thrown at me, especially angry Evertonians wanting your blood, never good.

My problem then was i had a bit of a big gob and was cheering for Leicester all game . When Fitzpatrick scored i got a sharp dig in the ribs . Other than that there wasn't much of a problem mainly pi55 taking . But the pi55 taking backfired as we beat them

When they scored, he jumped up and had to pretend he fell over as the Leicester fans became suspicious. It was rather hilarious, and he deserved the bruises, Leeds scum
maynefox Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 Me and my dad went to Southampton, im not sure what season, last game of the year, we losed 2v0 in the end, I was young about 10 and I wore a LCFC training jacket which got some looks, but no-one said anything to us. I remember Stephen Hughes shooting just wide and I lept out of my seat, then sat backed down awkwardly while people where looking at me. Great day though, I got Signed short from Fryatt, and Paddy McCarthy's training top, which i still have to this day, My dad couldnt believe it when I said "im just gunna have a look at the LCFC bus for 2 secs dad" then to return with those items, along with a signed programme by all of the squad. And Rob Kelly spoke to me for about 5minutes We didnt get away tickets in time, so we went in the home end, my first away day! does that count as one?
lestajigs Posted 3 August 2011 Posted 3 August 2011 I remember at filbert street when we had man u, there was a few off them in the kop, I remember this man u fan holding his head and punches reining in from every angle, then worse as steward was taking him out some lad ran from the isle, and put half a smashed off seat round his head!!!! Mind u the man u fans were ***** that day with there anti English songs!!!

A colleague of mine had got the tickets - turned out her dad was a Crewe Alex season ticket holder, so you can guess who we were sitting with! There was a huge party going on in the away end and I had to sit on my hands during all three of our goals to avoid being picked out by the scummy Nazi-saluting moron teenagers they seem to have there.
