21st Century Fox Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 This has Balotelli late winner written all over it.
ScouseFox Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 That said everyone laying into Joey Barton big time and before I go on I admit his past reputation goes against him, but John Terry didn't get half the amount of abuse when he kicked the Barca player the other week - He did get slagged off but I feel Joey Barton will be slagged off more. Mainly because the original incidents were pretty similar but Terry just strolled off looking a bit sad, whereas Barton tried to take down the whole Man City team one by one before being dragged off by three team mates kicking and screaming. QPR 2-1 up!!!
Matt Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Barton did continue to lash out at other players after the incident.... True but think Joey Barton would have been layed into regardless, I'm not for one second sticking up for him, It was indefensible for John Terry and it's indefensible for Joey Barton, I'm just comparing the situation, like I said I suppose it's his reputation going against him aswell as what he did. FUCKING GET IN!!!!! Man City 1 - 2 QPR. G'WON UNITED!
davieG Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Balotelli to come on and get sent off Oh deary me Man City
dave the caveman Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 this is getting silly come on QPR hold out you cnts
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 Just seen the replay, Tevez did do something to Barton... I don't know if it was on purpose, or if he was trying to win the ball, it was one of them.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 QPR have had 2 attacks. Lescott is shit I doubt he could have done anything for the second, there were two over. Traore ran past Kompany like he wasn't there.
Kitchandro Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 I doubt he could have done anything for the second, there were two over. Traore ran past Kompany like he wasn't there. I meant the first one really
Guest shearfox Posted 13 May 2012 Posted 13 May 2012 QPR have had 2 attacks. Lescott is shit Kompany to blame for the second...

In which case what Barton did is still indefensible but you can understand his frustrations, shouldn't have done what he did that was OTT but another case of wrong decisions being made (For the initial decision), causing trouble and guess work on the officials part when it could all be resolved with abit of technology. Of course my comments are based on if what you wrote is true, I havn't seen the replay so can't say whether you are right or not, although Joey Barton is a loose cannon I thought it must have been a wrong decision for the initial case for Barton to react that way though.
