brockmyster Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Some players in relegated teams who must be feeling pretty foolish too. Bradley Orr left QPR to go down with Blackburn. Darren Pratley bailed from Swansea to (probably) go down with Bolton. Dorus De Vries also left Swansea to go down with Wolves. Venky's sacked Allardyce and replaced him with Kean, they're going down and he may just be replacing them in the PL. Funny old game. Tbf i think he left due to not getting a game
Leicesterpool Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 I don't think Blackburn will bounce straight back up, personally I think they'll even struggle to make the play offs. The question is will Kean be sacked? if he is then I can see Curbishley turning up or even a surprise move with Eddie Howe leaving Burnley for them. Wait and see!
accessory Posted 7 May 2012 Posted 7 May 2012 Also, Gary Neville just gave Cissé goal of the season. Joke. Why? Who else would you have given it to?

Burnley fans would lynch him if that happened. Their rivalry with Blackburn is one of the most intense in Britain.

He's not a Burnley fan is he? I'm sure they would hate him but obviously they wouldn't actually lynch him so I doubt he'd care. It didn't stop McLeish or many other managers who have done similar things. I don't think Howe would go there necessarily but I don't think he wouldn't because he cares what Burnley fans think.

I also find it funny that MOTD were bumming Johnson and Dann (well, according to most people he's called Danns) and now they have both figured in 2 of the worst defences in the division, and are being relegated for the second time in 2 years.

Agreed... Just look at Owen Coyle. I know he has playing connections with Bolton, but he still left Burnley (massive rivals) to join. There will be some good Lancashire derbies next season; Blackburn, Burnley, maybe Bolton, maybe Blackpool etc
AyewJoking Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 How the fvck did the Yak win POTY? He only scored goals. shows how shít blackburn have been.
Kitchandro Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 ....and Henderson. He's so overrated it's unreal. And yes I know he slipped
Corky Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 On this evidence it's a bloody good job Terry is suspended for the final. Downing must have a tenner on not scoring this season,.
Tielemans63 Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 Anyone watching this on SNWL? Love Craig Burley's punditry - he doesn't pull any punches.
StanSP Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 What did John Terry actually do? Only tuned in just after the 2nd goal. Essien should have been shown red. Horrible tackle.

JT's been 'megged three times and was directly responsible for a couple of goals. PS You're spot on about Essien - that was a leg breaker and he meant it.
Jimothy Posted 8 May 2012 Posted 8 May 2012 What did John Terry actually do? Only tuned in just after the 2nd goal. Essien should have been shown red. Horrible tackle. Got megged by Suarez for the first. It was a pretty pathetic attempt at stopping him anyway, might as well not have bothered. Got totally wrong footed by Maxi's pass for the second and slipped over. And for the third seemed more interested in jostling players than winning the ball which was flicked to Agger to score. Also been left on his arse by Carroll a couple of times.
