Long story but she was my history teacher at the tech. We became quite friendly and then we were out one night in the Kremlin in Belfast and ended getting off with each other.

We celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary this year.

To be honest the best days of my life were probably when I was a kid running around doing absolutely nothing of any importance apart from building Lego and going out to play.

But more recently I've had some cracking moments that spring to mind.

1. Climbing Kilimanjaro with my girlfriend.

2. Glastonbury 2010. Probably the best weekend of my life.

3. 5 months living in Mumbai.

4. The morning a helicopter arrived to rescue me and my guide from Mont Blanc after spending the night in the open at 4,500 metres following a white out during our summit bid the previous day. In fact the whole experience in the Alps was completely unforgettable.

In no particular order

Seeing Morrissey for the first time (and my first gig full stop) at De Montfort Hall in 1991

Going on a tour of the Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth in 2003

The weekend of the trip to Wembley when City got beaten by Spurs. Everything apart from the result was ace.

These have been my only good days

Thats great... :)

Mine...

Seeing my lad and girl born.

Nothing can beat that feeling...

Mine too.. Best warmest feeling ever, and the hug you get when you come back after working away for a while... Unbeatable.

Hmmm...maybe I ought to have put my wedding day in here too!

Also, every year our very own Summer Sundae festival at De Montfort Hall is a highlight that throws up several surprises.

A lot of people are saying the birth of their children but to me that wasn't such a great experience. 10 hours listening to the wife in pain in an oppressively hot room patronized and ignored by the nurses, I was just glad when it was all over. For me finding out the wife was pregnant was a much happier day.

We'd been trying for a long time and the wife was in tears every month because she wasn't expecting, we'd already made appointments with the doctors to find out if we needed any fertility treatment when we found out that she was.

It's not the actual process of giving birth that made the day but holding Foxy Jr in my arms for the first time, because we'd had several miscarriages. I spent the entire pregnancy worried that something else would go wrong and we'd be back to square one.

Having watched Ms Foxy go through hell and back for 17 hours, I think every woman should be given a Caesarian.

Mine has yet to happen. Best day of my life would i presume, be something like getting married or the birth of my first child. Seeing as neither have yet happened for me, i shall return to this thread if and when it does. :)

2 spring to my mind,

First time we went to Disney, Florida and my (then) 8 year old daughter TOTALLY believing in Tinkerbell flying from the palace during the most spectacular fireworks display I have EVER seen

Then, just last Saturday night, my 18mth old grandaughter half asleep in our bed (she had a restless night) reaching out and sleepily touching my arm and murmering "gyandan"

Gotta love 'em
