Izzet is God Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 No thank you....wouldn't want such a scumbag at our club. He's a C*** simple as. And no he's not a gifted player either....If he's that good why can't he keep his place in the Blackburn side? Plus Rangers took him on loan and didn't make an offer even now he's on a free! The blokes a **** and the game would be better off without him.
lcfc_sam_p Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Were definitely after the most hated club in England tag..
Leicfox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 The boi is gangsta March 2003: While at Liverpool, Diouf was fined two weeks wages by the club, £5,000 by the Glasgow Sheriff Court and handed a two-match ban after spitting at Celtic supporters during a Uefa Cup tie at Celtic Park. Feb 2004: A verbal tirade at referee Ali Bujsaim while on international duty for Senegal, against Tunisia at the African Cup of Nations, resulted in a four-match international ban. Nov 2004: Double spitting disgrace. He is fined £500 for spitting at an 11-year-old Middlesbrough supporter and then, later that same month, Bolton fine him a fortnight's wages and ban him for three games after he spat at Portsmouth captain Arjan de Zeeuw. Diouf admits he showed a "lack of moral responsibility". Jan 2005: Bolton manager Sam Allardyce concedes Diouf has earned himself more notoriety following a blatant dive that led to the winning goal against Blackburn - and admitted the striker has "been doing it all his life". Dec 2005: Banned for 12 months after being found guilty of a drink-driving offence. The 24-year-old had been out drinking champagne to celebrate a Premiership win, Bolton Magistrates' Court heard. Jan 2006: Released without charge after he was alleged to have punched the ex-wife of Senegal team-mate Khalilou Fadiga in a Dakar night club. Oct 2007: Diouf admits to deliberately getting sent off for Bolton so he would be suspended from domestic competition and therefore able to represent Senegal. Jan 2009: Allegedly threatens Sunderland team-mate Anton Ferdinand following a dressing-room confrontation. Three days later he was sold to Blackburn. Sept 2009: Investigated by police for allegedly make racist comment to white ball boy during Blackburn's 3-0 defeat to Everton
Happy Fox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 RobTannerMerc Rob Tanner Treat the Diouf link with caution LCFC fans.
davieG Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 RobTannerMerc Rob Tanner Treat the Diouf link with caution LCFC fans. How ambiguous and pointless is that.
blue army 1988 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 RobTannerMerc Rob Tanner Treat the Diouf link with caution LCFC fans. what...... caution that we'll get him? or caution that it's all a pack of lies?
acooling08 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 If we sign him, it'll be weird to cheer when your own player gets cropped and sing cheerio as he gets stretchered off. We need a Joey Barton style 2 footed challenge on him to end his career.

carterfox90 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 definately NO THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Don't really understand why so many people are against this idea. As Flair said earlier the guy would definitely improve our squad and in my view could potentially turn out to be one of the most dangerous attacking players in the league. I'm not really too arsed about his personality and besides I feel that we probably have enough strong characters in the squad to keep him in check anyway. In fact my only real concern would be the wages he would likely be after.
coolhandfox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 He's actually distinctly mediocre at football, to be honest. Top end of the Championship would be about his level. A little bit over the top, how can someone be mediocre who's twice been named the African Footballer of the Year, has earned 69 international caps and scored 21 goals for his country. Yes a total prat, but wouldn't describe him as mediocre.
Cat Burger Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Don't really understand why so many people are against this idea. Perhaps the threat of baby rape is what's getting people a little bit cross.
Kent Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I definitely think we need(ed) a cvnt or two but I think we have a bit of one in Beckford so I think Diouf would be overkill.
Toffee_Fox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I definitely think we need(ed) a cvnt or two but I think we have a bit of one in Beckford so I think Diouf would be overkill. wrong
Kent Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 wrong Alright maybe not a cvnt but that kind of borderline arrogant character that every team needs.

Toffee_Fox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Alright maybe not a cvnt but that kind of borderline arrogant character that every team needs. Unless you have a team spirit. May work for some teams, Everton valued their spirit higher and therefore sold. Depends how the rest of your team is, I suppose.
Koke Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 A little bit over the top, how can someone be mediocre who's twice been named the African Footballer of the Year, has earned 69 international caps and scored 21 goals for his country. Yes a total prat, but wouldn't describe him as mediocre. He was good in his Bolton days but has deteriorated since. He hasn't been all that since about 2008. That said, he'd definitely improve our squad, and he'd be one of the best attacking players in the league. I personally would take. him. He's a strange character. He's 30, he's got a wife and a daughter, and he still acts like a dick.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Perhaps the threat of baby rape is what's getting people a little bit cross. I haven't listened to the video yet I'm at work. I feel fairly confident that it will have been what's known as an 'idle threat' rather than something that should actually be guarded against though.
FallenAngel Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 He's an utter scumbag with no respect for anyone or anything apart from his ego!! HELL NO!!!!!
coolhandfox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Lack of competition? Well to be fair Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, Jay-Jay Okocha et al, may disagree. Also compare 243 Premier League apps and 28 goals, to Muzzy Izzet 248 Premier apps and Goals 34, who we would all agree is a total legend! Can't see how he can be judge as poor player, a total tit but a decent player.
One Arm Babba Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Brilliant. For an ex sheep, Burley has gone up a few notchs there.
