Hack Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Unless you have a team spirit. May work for some teams, Everton valued their spirit higher and therefore sold. Depends how the rest of your team is, I suppose. Was it team spirit that caused the sale of Beckford, or just that Moyes and Beckford didn't get along. Quite differnt things. Haven't seen it said that Beckford had problems with his team mates only the manager.
okie fox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Well to be fair Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, Jay-Jay Okocha et al, may disagree. Also compare 243 Premier League apps and 28 goals, to Muzzy Izzet 248 Premier apps and Goals 34, who we would all agree is a total legend! Can't see how he can be judge as poor player, a total tit but a decent player. But Diouf is a winger/striker, Izzet was a centre midfielder (i.e., played further back). Diouf was good in 2002, but has been a disappointment since.
Raj Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 He's a cretin and an arsehole. And for a professional footballer THAT must be bad! If we sign him, you've gotta question on what basis we are signing players
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Perhaps the threat of baby rape is what's getting people a little bit cross. !
richardsfoxes Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Wont go to us, will join big sam at the hammers. Wouldnt want him anyway, utter scum bag.
accessory Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Le Spit is heading north. That figures. He's a hero at Ibrox, though that's more to do with him being a WUM to Celtic fans than to any achievements involving a football.
messerschmitt Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Has someone got their Dioufs mixed up, Sir Alex has said, Mame Biram Diouf can go out on lone? Would it make more sense if it was him we were after?
MC Prussian Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 "Messerschmitt" - brilliant username! This forum needs a firm German hand. Or two.
cc_star Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 That figures. He's a hero at Ibrox, though that's more to do with him being a WUM to Celtic fans than to any achievements involving a football. Thank goodness. It'll be hard enough creating a team out of all these signings without a complete tosser on board upsetting everyone too
Marmite Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 One horrible cvnt be very dissapointed if this twat signs for us dont think it would do the morale of the team any good either
accessory Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Has someone got their Dioufs mixed up, Sir Alex has said, Mame Biram Diouf can go out on lone? Would it make more sense if it was him we were after? According to the Guardian, Sven's interested in both. But the Guardian is almost as bad as the tabloids in publishing unfounded transfer rumours.
Tielemans63 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 He drives a gold car. You don't need any more info to know that he's a cnut of the highest order.
Houdini Logic Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 To be fair, it's probably not far off what I would say if some little douche got hold of my number and started being a dick to me. That said, he does have a gold car...
Liamlcfc1 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 El-Hadji Diouf Will NOT be joining Leicester
Guest shearfox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 El-Hadji Diouf Will NOT be joining Leicester Brilliant news thanks.
Fox96 Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 No. People who was saying "No, its a family club, Marlon King would not be welcome." who are now okay with El-Hadji Diouf, this person has spat on fans, including a child if i heard correctly. I dread the thought of Diouf in a city shirt. Edit: Yay, he's not joining.
lestajigs Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Dirty ****ing ain't even gonna say the rest
Alexikokopops Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 According to the Guardian, Sven's interested in both. But the Guardian is almost as bad as the tabloids in publishing unfounded transfer rumours. You've posted a link to the Guardian's equivalent of the BBC's Gossip column, where they read all the tabloids/websites and post the rumours that are flying around, just in a slightly more entertaining way than the list the BBC provides. When it comes to actual rumours, according to this website it's the most accurate. It tends to post fewer rumours (0.3 per day compared to the 6.1 per day in the NOTW when it was around), but has the highest success rate at 34.5%. The Metro sits at a nice 12.7%
