Mr.Lowe Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 Was just about to post this... This is off BBC gossip page; Controversial ex-Blackburn Rovers striker El-Hadji Diouf is a shock target for big-spending Leicester boss Sven Goran Eriksson after leaving the Ewood Park club. Diouf, who is a free agent, is also wanted by West Ham, but will consider all offers, including those from the US and Qatar, before making a decision. Full story: Daily Mirror 1000% no, one of the worst attitudes in football!
kingfox Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 Biggest twat in football, I honestly believed as soon as he was released he would get mentioned with a move to Leicester. Could see it coming a mile off, if this happens I would cry and inflict serious injuries on myself.
ramboacdc Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 well if anyone needs me ill be using myself as a human shield to stop him getting near my club. *grabs coat*
Bagworthblue Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 Just make sure you don't sit in the front seats eh!
Jaspa Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 Transfer section? And NO! Edit: Oh sheet, It's gone! But. . . But . . . The Maynard thread!
One Arm Babba Posted 4 September 2011 Posted 4 September 2011 I was asleep and had a nightmare that this nob had signed with us. Now I've just checked on BBC website and am sick to the pit of my stomach. Please don't sign him.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Yes I know he's a massive scumbag but, and I don't know why, I'm somehow not as morally opposed to him coming here as I was the prospect of Marlon King signing. From a purely playing perspective I think he'd be a good addition and would fit the bill for what we need. It raises an interesting question: if Diouf is the kind of player that can help us get promoted do we put our moral objections to one side? I for one am a little anxious about what could happen if we don't go up this year with all the money we've spent, there's just that constant thought that it would be so typically Leicester City for things to go tits up. So I sort of edge towards the promotion this season at all costs and if that means signing Diouf then so be it....
thybluefox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Sven has always said that character is just as important as playing talent when looking at a new player.
The Doctor Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 No thanks, nowt special on the pitch and a detestable scum-bag to boot.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Yes please. Only joking No thanks Sven. Put him in a cage.
MattyFromLE Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Would rather play Chris Weale up top. No thanks, absolute waste of a human being
CKB Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 He has an awful attitude and it's not like his playing skill makes up for it as he's very average imo No thanking you!
ajthefox Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Championships big spenders get linked with ageing ex prem player who will no doubt go wherever the money takes him. Shocker. Don't want him playing for us but there's nothing to it anyway.
Koke Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 I wouldn't mind him. He's a ****, but apart from one or two driving offences, he hasn't done anything illegal [as far as I know]. My moral compass is worth jackshit so as long as he's godo at playing football, I'll take him. He's 30 years old. If he hasn't grown up by now, he never will.
Finnegan Posted 5 September 2011 Posted 5 September 2011 Hes good at football He's actually distinctly mediocre at football, to be honest. Top end of the Championship would be about his level.
