Even the ones who do it under a veil of gritted teeth politeness, what is the point on going on to another teams fan forum? There's always a passive aggressive agenda behind it. Admittedly this guy has taken the flack because of all the other bragging Brighton fans before him but still.

Why does it bother you so much, that a fan of another team comes on here ?

Its not like he`s on a wind up is it...

As you`ve already stated, Brighton have not had it this good for quite a few years and some of their fans are understandably excited at the moment, not unlike us...

I just don`t understand the resentment...

It's the teams that show up with more physical strategy that get something out of us.

And that worries me at the moment to be honest, you can play football in this league but you need a physical edge to compete with the bully boys.

I think Brighton fans some how relate to us as we both have wealthy owners with very high expectations. Not that there is a natural rivalry. But a modern day rivalry of rich clubs. Comparing there spend this year to ours. There question should br, how long does Gus have if they fall down the league table?

Well I think this thread shows the gene pool is in need of a good cleansing.

Yes Mr Brighton fan, we are happy with the owners and their investment. So far they have been pretty much impeccable.

Congrats on being top after a 5 whopping games, congrats on spending a few quid, being media darlings and having a new stadium with weird massive concrete walls at the back.

I was wondering in all seriousness how Leicester City fans feel about their new found wealth ?

Now Vichai is at the helm do you feel happier than when that great Leicester City , Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth stalwart Milan was around ?

Are your money men in it for the long haul or not do you think ? At Brighton we were just getting used to spending 70 and 80k on players and then we have leapt to 2.5 for CMS.

Its going to be a good season boys.

I find it uncomfortable, I liked Leicester being a poor club, fighting against all odds!!

Would you post in a topic in General Chat on a subject you had no interest in?

I've must have said this a 100 times if you're not interested in a topic don't post in it, if the topic genuinely has no interest it would quickly slide down the forum and disappear.

If that's aimed at me then you're wide of the mark because I posted it as Administrator of this forum and as far as I'm aware it's always been the policy of this forum to welcome fans of other clubs provided they were civil and not WUMs I therefore I felt no need to comment on the OP.

As for "Hardly any of the posts are actually slating the brighton fan" I counted 15 that either are having a go at the Brighton fan for having the gall to post on an LCFC forum or trying to justifying their response.

Its not 'aimed' at a single one person, just a general comment. Think people are getting a bit too sensitive, its an internet forum, chill.

It's not a case of 'too 'sensitive' it's about not driving people away who are creating topics that some people are interested in. People might also think about this site being free to members because of the generosity of Mark and the generally unobtrusive advertising the value of which I'm sure increases the more active members there are driving new members away therefore affects us all in the long term..

I apologize to the Brighton fan for my rant last night, I don't know what came over me, anyway goodluck for the rest of the season except when we play you. :thumbup:
