If they are top of the league we have nothing to worry about, that was pretty much a dominate 1-0 win.

Just got in and still buzzing from the game earlier. Disappointed with the Beeb's coverage but then who gives a fook if they don't like us?

Anyway, thought we looked much more solid today and the boys all looked happy with the system we played. To me Becks and Vassel looked like they'd been playing as a partnership for a while which was encouraging. I thought Kingy played quite well but the prospect of Becks and Nugent up front with Darius doing his thang from the wing makes me a bit creamy.

On the Brighton forum they are now saying they also lost because they had ten men, even though the guy was sent off right at the end of the game :giggle:

Of the two teams that visited being top at the time, i would say Southampton we're by far the better team but maybe that was because we we're not really gelling yet :dunno: or are Brighton inferior to Southampton

Well done fellas, keep up the good work, I advise you play a second string team on Wednesday Sven, maybe give Johnson a run out, so our best players are more refreshed for Sunday.

I thought this was quite interesting from Sven

http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/football-league/championship/1108/53/exclusive-–-eriksson-we-have-cope-fact-teams-want-beat-us?

Sven-Goran Eriksson has told his Leicester City players that they need to come to terms with the fact everyone in the Championship wants to beat them.

The big-spending Foxes beat Brighton 1-0 which was only their third win of the season, taking them up to ninth in the league.

And the former England boss insists his players have to cope with their own expectations.

He told Call Collymore: “Maybe we haven’t coped with it as well as we could have but I think we have to learn that we have to live with that because wherever we go that’s the reality and of course we never hide what our goal is this season so we have to live with it and stand up to it and go on playing good football.

Ray Wilkins can fuck off! Trying to say that our victory on Saturday only happened because Brighton wanted to be ready for the Liverpool game tonight!

He said at the start of the game that this game against Liverpool would have had an impact on the result at Leicester because everyone would want to play tonight. Pretty much saying Brighton took it easy on Saturday to be ready for tonight.
