She wouldn't need to move - it's a couple of hours drive for someone with a driver or 15 mins by helicopter

He's been offered a playing/coaching role at the club.

If it's what he wants to go into after playing then I can see this happening as he would get on the coaching ladder to maybe be a better coach or a manager someday and also who else better to learn from than :sge:

his mrs has already said she doesnt want to move to leicester he will go tottenham or QPR makes far more sence for him to be in london at a premiership club

If I was Beckham, I'd move here...its the perfect excuse to get away from his missus for a while, he'd get to play proper football in a proper league and I'm sure Sven wouldn't mind hooking him up with one or two of him ladies!

I really cant see any negatives aspects of this move for him!!

Beckham was in Leicestershire (kilworth house) last weekend for one of his kids christenings or something.

Why Leicester ? He must be coming :P

Fvck must be something in this.

He's been seen in leicestershire and not at Morrisons.

Gotta be a goer.

Off to Ladbrookes now.

Am the only one that doesn't want him? We look like we are starting to get it together now and this would be bribing the circus to town.

It cause upset with his wages and attitude that I wouldn't want to be prepared to risk for someone who is pretty average now from the MLS games I've seen.

Please don't give me the coaching stuff either, you don't employ a coach who is thick as pigshit and tactically very naive. He is never going to make it on anyones coaching staff, leave that stuff to the Chris Powells and Bruno Berners of the world.

I'm off to see friends in Chalfont St Giles this week-end - one of the most sought after villages in the 'home counties' - not far from Watford. Some huge multi million pound pads there. Liam Gallagher, Ossie Osborne, some unnamed Prem footballers and well known actors live near the village. Victoria would love it and David could nip up the M1, easy - or he could live somewhere near Market Harborough, ( better villages than Chalfont anyway ), great for their kids and direct line first class rail travel for Victoria to London.

But of course all that doesn't mean he would come anyway, but he could give his 'misses' options if he did want to come to Svennis.

He'll go PSG.

They have Pastore and Menez covering that area of the pitch, they have far higher sights than 37 year old has beens looking for another big pay day.

Boom.

Big-spending Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain are ready to offer LA Galaxy midfielder David Beckham a lucrative contract, according to reports in France.

French newspaper Le Parisien claims that PSG officials will meet with Beckham, 36, in Los Angeles on Wednesday in order to offer the global football icon a tempting deal.

Director of football Leonardo revealed last month that PSG were considering a move for the former England captain and it appears the Qatari-owned club intend to snap up the LA star when his MLS contract expires in November.

PSG will reportedly offer Beckham a two-year contract worth €4-5 million that will make him the club's top earner alongside Argentina international Javier Pastore, who signed from Palermo in a €39 million deal in July.

Le Parisien reports that Beckham's wife, Victoria, has already approved a potential move to the French capital - while the Ligue 1 leaders hope to secure a decision from the player by the middle of October.

When asked last month if PSG would sign former Manchester United and Real Madrid midfielder Beckham, Leonardo said: "The door is open. He is more than a football player - he's a brand, a pop star. I would always consider him. He respects the rules, listens to you and wants the best for the team. That's why for me he is a big example. I worked with him and that's why I talk about his name."

"I coached him at AC Milan and we created a good relationship," Leonardo told BBC Sport. "He is more than a football player, but when you see him every day he trains and plays like a kid. He is someone that I really appreciate and admire so much - his values and everything he has done in football."

A number of Premier League clubs, including Tottenham and QPR, have also been linked with a move for Beckham and former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson hopes sign his old charge at Leicester in a player-coach role.

Eriksson told The Times: "I have already had that discussion with him. I spoke to him about Leicester.

"Beckham, he will never say no to me - he says, 'Sven, we'll see, we'll see'. The big thing is what he wants to do when his contract finishes in LA. Will he want to go on playing?''

Eriksson knows his League Championship side, who have received substantial investment from their Thai owners, will face stiff competition from other clubs. However, the Swede hopes the added incentive of a training role will help tip the balance.

"We will give him a whistle and he can go out (on the training pitch) straight away,'' he said.

Who says he has to move to Leicester? Gallagher and Wellens travel down to Leicester every day.

I might be wrong but Im guessing David Beckham probably has more off the pitch sponsorship/media work than Gally and Wellens so naturally he may want to limit his travelling time to as little as possible, time is money, big money in his world
