Me and my friend have got in to another debate.

Which of these is a better invention

a set of headphones that also acts as a belt.

or buying toast frozen and microwaving it, instead of having to toast bread.

I'm not seeing how these headphone belts could work and the microwaveable toast seems just as time-consuming as toasting bread (which admittedly is not very) so I'll have to say both are a bit crap.

I know they are.

But which is the least crap?

One of the panelists on Would I Lie To You claimed he ironed bread to make toast.

You can get toasted bacon and egg sandwiches that are frozen. You put them in your toaster.

That sounds vile!!! It sounds worse than those Rustlers burgers.

I need a picture of the headphone-belt... My brain is confused?

Just imagine a belt with headphones coming from the buckle (where the iPod is located), they're detachable, so I'm told.

What you mean is iPod docking belt, with earphones?!

Perfect for pocketless trousers/skirts! I'm in!

I suppose you have the wires inside the belt and put them back after use. Saves having the wire hanging around your neck.

I tried one of those toast things. They were not very nice. From Tesco £1 for two. They also sell a loaf of bread for around 60p which contains around 20 slices. Much cheaper

Exactly.

Given that frozen toast would be blasphemy, it's clearly the headphones belt.

That's not even a debate.

In other news, have we invented wireless headphones yet? I want a pair.

I own some! But they are RF ones therefore have a limited range, and eat batteries!

Frozen toast would never work in a microwave. The moisture that would disappate would create a mushy slop slice. The headphone belt would work if integrated into some sort fashonable form yet still be an expensive use of money, especially if your outfit cannot or does not need a belt. But the belt is the improbable winner.

To be fair, I have never heared of either, but I have voted for the headphones option considering this post:

Well the headphones act as a belt but they're long enough to be used as headphones.

What a creation!

It would be if your ears were closer to the belt

Surely there would be braces around your neck or something? :S

What happens when you need to take your trousers off in a quick emergency, won't you end up stangling yourself? Have these belts got a safety certificate?

It would be if your ears were closer to the belt and that only happens if you have your head down a loo or between yours/another legs.

Ok so maybe i watch too much TV, but if this was Dragon's Den i would be well and truly out! Both ideas are shit!

However if i was Alan Sugar and im looking for a new apprentice and these 2 ideas come back to the boardroom i would be really dissapointed and gutted if i had to employ somebody who thought either of these was a good idea.

But we need a winner! So who to choose. Well, firstly i thought whats more practicle? Neither! A belt with headphones - why? or microwavable toast? Why don'y you just toast bread?

But then i entered cost into it -

Why would i want to buy a belt with earphones when i could just just buy a normal belt that would be cheaper? Ok so somebody wants to tell me that it would be prefect if somebody had no pockets? Well, why don't i just buy a case that can clip to a belt? That way i can clip my music listening device to any belt i already own and aviod any fashion faux paux's. Im wearing green trousers and the belt is blue!! Even i know that blue and green should never be seen!! Arrggghhh im a fashion disaster! F**K You Headphone belt!!!

Then theres the microwavable toast. Surely you will be more expensive that bread so whats the point? Just toast the bloody bread! Same amount of time spent and nicer out of the toaster! What a bloody terrible idea! But, then like a stroke of genius i thought what if i was this guy!?!?!

No room for a toaster or a grill! So no means of performing the bread to toast action that seemed so simple! So weighing it up in my mind and thinking through logically! On the basis that the microwavable toast might be bought by 1 person and belt no one!

Belt your fired!

Edit: The i realised whicle i had the smallest kitchen ever and had no room for a toaster or a grill! I also have no room for a microwave!! So im back to square one and all ive maged to do is waste everyones time!

Well im going to stick with my original decision! It might be shit but my gut says Microwavable toast! Or maybe i ate microwavable toast and its upset my stomach!? Good job for the toast that im stubborn!
