Bryn Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Agreed. All we needed today was a wingers on each side to force them to open up.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Not buying Kebe is now looking a very regrettable decision.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 My dicks got more width to it than this ****ing team
The Doctor Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I'm not so sure, It could be useful to give us another dimension, but I don't think our first choice strikers are really that adept in the air for us to take max advantage of the presence of wide-men.
Tuna Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 we have no ****ing wingers, just dyer so what the **** can we do?
dog_4 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 beckford should of stayed on and put vassell on the right! had width on the left and none on the right in the second half
MrAus Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 we have no ****ing wingers, just dyer so what the **** can we do? Dyer Vassell Schlupp Danns Nugent ???? Could all be utilised on the wing pretty easily
body102 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Dyer put in a couple of decent crosses second half but no one was staeming in at the far post which would surely have got us goals each time . The urgency to get in the box just was not there today
Corky Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Vassell is not as effective on the wing. Dyer did okay, but we needed a right winger for proper balance.
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I pointed this out in the summer. Sven signed something like 6 central midfielders and no wingers, its a joke! Every team near enough has width, including the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool, and also the teams that have been promoted to the Premier League in previous seasons - Swansea, Wolves, West Brom etc We need a quality right winger (not Gallagher).

LukeyZade Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 Dyer Vassell Schlupp Danns Nugent ???? Could all be utilised on the wing pretty easily Dyer- Blistering pace 50/50 crossing a decent ball. should play all games Vassell. Fast and innafective, not a winger Schlupp - good prospect , still needs to develop- not a winger Danns - would be interesting to see him play that role Nugent - only one whos scoring... on the wing?? are u mad who else do we have to put the ball in the net
FrankieADZ Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I know his end product isnt always the best at times but I really think Dyer should be given more of a chance. playing a natrually CM player on the right or left isnt working...they dont have the pace to go to real trouble the oppo's defence. As proved today when Dyer came on, he did something we didnt in the 1st....go at there defenders....same with Vassell(Yes I KNOW hes not a winger) <_< Proven time and again...defenders dont like pace and that seems to be something we lack a hell of alot on width wise.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 I said the diamond was just makeshift and cwe couldnt expect long term success with it. The lack of width is all Svens fault and there are no excuses, he has had the whole summer and not addressed this. Needs sorting out soon.
Fox92 Posted 22 October 2011 Posted 22 October 2011 are you the chap who rang up rl and got in a bit of an argument with alan young Not but I didn't agree with Young.

Nugent played there for portsmouth ! All quoted could do a job on the wing in the championship.
